I approached my work about a day to support men's rights and was shot down because we don't suffer the same as women....

Why does everything have to be a 1 to 1. I'm the bad guy your the good guy etc.

I'm not mad... Just disappointed

That's cool and is a perfect example of how to win.
1) Get the people who dismissed you, to concede to the idea that men have problems
2) Use their own ideological gobbledegook to create space to discuss men's issues
3) You are now an accepted movement
I like it. You need to be subversive to win.
