As with anything from AITAH I take all stories with a heavy grain of salt..
But if this is true then yes.. the irony is palpable..

So many people are supportive of her walking away and claiming she was "lied to" and thus justified in walking away..
But when the genders are reversed it is often gaslighting and emotional manipulation of "The child is innocent!" or "Oh, so just because the child isn't biologically yours you don't love them anymore!?"

I guess this is yet another double standard we have to bare...

That's a fake story, but it's not important. OP probably created it to test wether people would be lining up to tell the mother to "man up" and take care of the child regardless of biological lineage, as they do with men telling the same story.

I hope that's real. It's almost too good to be true.

Regardless, it's a clear demonstration of the double standard to see all the responses saying NTA because the kid isn't hers.

This is the second case I've heard of involving a woman being tricked into cuckoldry. The other one I read about was in an article describing how DNA tests had uncovered long buried paternity secrets. It profiled a number of stories, and featured a "uno-reverse" story. In this case, an older woman had been told all her life that she was adopted. What her parents had told her was that her birth mother was the daughter of family friends who was a college student that got pregnant and came home to give birth. The adoptive parents wouldn't tell her who she was and she was also curious about bio dad. She did the DNA test, and shockingly she came back with hits to relatives on "adoptive" dad's family. It turns out that "adoptive" dad had an affair with his friend's daughter. When the daughter became pregnant, the two hatched this plan to pin it on some imaginary chad from college. Since they never were able to have kids, the bio-dad and his wife would adopt the child. All these years later the affair came to light. It never filled in what happened to her "adoptive" parents after that.

It’s cute but it’s fake, IVF patients can’t get pregnant around the implant and are guided by ultrasound, so they know where to put it and won’t plant if there is a baby already in the uterus, they take pregnancy tests before.

The whole scenario (while hilarious) isn’t possible
