It's straight-up apalling how much I see people excuse women cheating, using soft language such as the word "mistake" as if it's not a 100% conscious choice someone makes. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't cheat on a future girlfriend even if someone held a gun to my head. I'm just that kind of person.

Whenever a man is unfaithful in a relationship, he gets (rightfully) lambasted. He's seen as an absolute scumbag who doesn't deserve redemption and who no-one wants to associate with. But if it's a woman, she's suddenly "still young and figuring things out" or was "feeling lonely in the relationship" as if that's any excuse.
