JJ Abrams has slammed “Star Wars” fans who didn’t like “The Last Jedi,” telling Indiewire, “If you are someone who feels threatened by women and needs to lash out against them, you can probably find an enemy in ‘Star Wars.'”

“‘Star Wars’ is a big galaxy, and you can sort of find almost anything you want to in ‘Star Wars,'” he said in the Friday interview. “You can probably look at the first movie that George [Lucas] did and say that Leia was too outspoken, or she was too tough,” he added, referring to “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

I thought his Star Wars movies are pushing feminism, SJW, and political correctness, but to say fans who didn't like it are threatened by women? Yup go right to a shame tactic, what an asshole.

Maybe we are just tired of women being portrayed as smart, good and perfect, and men portrayed dumb, bad, and idiots who need to be controlled.

I liked princess Leia in a the 70's 80's films, never had an issue with her character. A strong female role, but wasn't a Mary Sue like Rey is portrayed.

Other films I loved and still love:

Terminator - strong female role, again not over the top with Mary Sue bullshit.

Alien - strong female role, again not over the top with Mary Sue bullshit.

But I guess I am "Threatened by Women"?

Poe is probably the nearest thing to being masculine in the entire series and in this last film they show women treating him like a fucking child.
