Yup. It's amazing that when you confront them online they claim "those are not real feminists", "feminism has nothing to do with that" and so on but within their own echo chambers we see posts like this.

It's not just the number of likes that shows something about it but also that one of the main feminist facebook pages shared it.

I've never once seen a feminist of any note condemn misandry. Not even the most extreme "put all men in concentration camps" stuff. They'll debate all day about who is higher on the progressive stack (intersectionality) and even de-platform other feminists if they are TERFS but no level of misandry will earn their condemnation. They'll either claim the woman was engaging in "ironic" misandry or that she's "not a real feminist." Apparently not even Hillary "the primary victims of war are women" Clinton or the women woman who founded the first gender studies class qualify as "real" feminists. Nor do the feminists who run the largest organizations like NOW.

The "real" feminists are the 1 percent of non-man haters like CH Sommers who are rejected by the other 99 percent.

Also: the term "rape apologist" has repeatedly been used to describe men who say we should ensure due process rights for the accused. Feminists are incredibly malicious, hateful creatures, with no sense of justice, drunk on the power they have been granted by rich men. That power is not long for this earth.

No, it's not remotely the same thing. Feminists hate men because of the way they were born. Similar to the way Nazis hate Jews. Hating an ideology is not comparable. As soon as feminists start speaking out against misandry and working to end (rather than encourage) discrimination against men and boys I will stop calling them malicious scumbags.

yeah but whats a real feminist? thats the problem with feminism for me personally. there is no officialness.. you can just claim to be one without doing anything. you can live your own life for yourself without ever doing anything for anybody and you are a feminist. only women make this arbitrary distinction of real and unreal without having some sort of official guidline. secondly I cannot support a group that includes everyone without in sanity filter.

A joke can be either harmless or terrible depending on context. I like to assume people have the tact to know that. Personally I have nothing against holocaust jokes, but I wouldn't tell one to a group of jews as it would be in very bad taste.

However saying that rape jokes "enforce rape" is like saying 9/11 jokes enforce terrorism, holocaust jokes enforce mass murder (with so many of those jokes I wonder why we don't have mass murder everywhere) and so on. It's the kind of argument that makes you question the person's intelligence.

What are the words you’re putting in my mouth? I didn’t say one must, I said one should. Should isn’t dictating. Please google the word if you are unsure of its definition, Of course people get to decide what they say and when they say it, but what I’m saying is a person shouldn’t (not mustn’t) say things that hurt other people, regardless of race, sex, religion, etc. They still can choose to be an ass, because I live in America and freedom is important.

Rape jokes help to cause rape, or so they claim.

I suppose jokes about stealing help to cause theft and jokes about violence help to cause violence. But not jokes about castration or raping men up the ass; those are good, clean fun. Especially when repeated 17 times daily and directed at you personally.

I have genuinely heard from some victims that rape jokes allowed them to let go for brief moments and feel normal again, eventually helping them overcome their trauma.

That obviously won't work for everyone, but to dismiss rape jokes are nothing but harmful with no redeeming qualities is patently false.
