Jesus. This smacks of complete incompetence by the officers at the scene. One bit of questioning would be all it took to establish what happened, after all her friend was the first to find her and call for help. To arrest innocent men for murder is highly inappropriate. Those officers need to be retrained or removed. Yet again, guilty until proven innocent for men it seems.

The other thing that gets me is that they were arrested on suspicion of ‘murder’, meaning that the police assumed it was deliberate.
