As expected, the school board considered hatred of women but not men when deciding which school names to revise:

The school district, which has more than 57,000 students enrolled, is changing the schools named after historical figures linked to "the subjugation and enslavement of human beings; or who oppressed women, inhibiting societal progress; or whose actions led to genocide; or who otherwise significantly diminished the opportunities of those amongst us to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," according to the text of the resolution.

Of course, given that their behavior is being driven primarily by mass hysteria rather than logic, practically no one was considered virtuous enough to avoid being purged. Even Abraham Lincoln, the President who freed the slaves, was considered too much of a bigot to be allowed to be celebrated:

Schools that will be renamed include: Abraham Lincoln High School, George Washington High School, Dianne Feinstein Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, Jefferson Elementary and Alamo Elementary.

While I understand the idea of not wanting children to have to attend schools that might be named for figures that promoted unsavory morals, it is extremely important to look at the criteria that are being used. This action by the San Francisco school board is obviously meant to appease the angry mob rather than to right any historic wrongs, given its inconsistent criteria and bizarre outcomes. And given that men and boys do not rank highly in the outcome of the Oppression Olympics, I think it is easy to see that there is little hope for their wellbeing to be promoted by appeasing the angry mob in the first place.
