This is insane. We ask people to stop going to witch doctors, and then the "real" doctors we send in come up with something more evil (and less medically sound) than the local snake-oil salesman probably ever dreamed of.

I'm sweating right now. The terror those little boys must have gone through. And the fear and anguish the parents must have felt upon hearing about it.

How have there not been violent reprisals? Maybe the parents have been too scared of their own government for too long to stand up.

Couldn't help but notice that the article kept referring to the circumcision of "children," never deigning to refer to the victims as boys. Effacing the male.

Such a simple concept: Stop cutting the genital of children- girls AND boys.
