People who go on and on about the "rape epidemic" don't care about actual rape victims. All they care about is demonizing men.

Even if we ignore for a moment that 42%+ of all rapists are women, and that male victims suffer just as much as female victims (in part because of a culture of denial that they themselves help perpetuate), I think it's clear that these people don't really care about rape victims. Even when we're talking specifically about women who are raped by men.

All they care about is using this narrative in a way to demonize men. It is an example of misandry in our culture. And the people who go on and on about it are hateful bigots. They take advantage of the suffering of real people in order to justify their sexist views of men. And honestly I don't think that makes them any better than any other kind of hate group out there.
