don't reside in UK so can't vote , but this legal changes are very much needed - other democracies look to developed countries while reviewing their laws - and this should happen.

Please bring more awareness and let's have this changed in UK.

The petition is poorly worded, it doesn't explicitly include "forced to penetrate", it instead just includes other things which don't involve a penis, which borders on not being rape at all. I worry that even if this did get 10k signatures, it will still result in an underwhelming response from the govt.

Including male victims isn't enough. They're included in the US but only if their assailant penetrated them. Forced envelopment must also be included.

Rape = sex without consent (or with forced, manipulated, or coerced consent). This definition or rape is already law in Sweden and should become universal

I vote for petitions like this all the time. The government deny them as sexual assault carries the same sentence. However, rape is a powerful word and should be equal.

Causing Sexual activity with out consent is the law that applies to this situation.

It's is in everyway but name the same as rape and carries the same maximum sentence as rape.

How would redefining a word improve mens rights? When the law already protects mens right to not be forced to penetrate and has equal sentencing compared to rape?
