There is a lot of news of women's issues and reproductive rights in the mainstream media right now. I would posit that not enough attention is paid to the reproductive rights of men.

Consider that the default custody arrangement in about 85% of family court cases is sole physical custody to the mother, and nearly 90% of all child support payments are made by men while no accounting system for proper child support expenditure exists.

The status quo effectively treats men as weekend diversions and cash machines for their children and in many cases their former partners. We're not talking about rape or abortion, but a lifelong financial commitment to a child that a father doesn't spend a healthy or significant amount of time with certainly bears attention in any discussion concerning reproductive rights.
