The shooter was another American gun nut obsessed with mass shootings. He was an inspiring rapper but I don't believe there is any indication he was an incel or misognyist.

Feminists are always trying to blame incels because they feel it somehow 'proves their point'

He lived with his father though so we can't try and blame single mothers this time.

It's not terribly surprising, that's the latest bogeyman that everybody wants to blame for any tragic event, just like other groups of people before that when it was the fashion to link any tragic event with a particular type of religious extremist.

I don't think it's particularly helpful, but it does get clicks, and that's where we're at with media and discussion.

I will patiently await the reveal that he had nothing whatsoever to do with any such label or online scene and disregard the opinions of those who insist that he must've been one because he did a bad thing.

Edit: In the event that this comment ages like milk, it's still true that the majority are not violent, otherwise they'd all be out there doing it.

Cause its very easy to blame a loosly defined word but in reality they cannot state "why" in any reasonable detail with it.

Its like... You know all those incels they are blaming? Well they are all mostly raised by single moms. so we can just as much blame them for not raising their kids right.

While that is somewhat pointless to do because it ain't going to fix shit. Much the same as people who blame guns / gun rights for it. Simple ask them. ok assuming its going to take 3-5 years to implement a gun ban. What is option 2 on the list after that not involving guns and realize the same people have literally "nothing" of substantial depth to suggest as a proposal.

to be fair as a general rule of thumb mass shooters are woman haters. Almost every American shooter kills their mother, wife, or woman who rejected him first.

Think about that. Pretend incels do not exist.Someone committed mass shooting. That someone is of certain group. Would you risk screeching about that group,knowing they probably have guns and prone to mass shooting? And probably living next door to you? I doubt that.
