Tenney backs Women’s Choice in Service Act
Washington, D.C. — Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-22, New Hartford, has announced she is an original cosponsor of the Women’s Choice in Service Act. This bill would amend the Military Selective Service Act to allow women to voluntarily register for the draft if they choose to do so.

I suspect that somewhere near 0 women would register if they don't have to.

“I’ve heard from many constituents who have concerns regarding the provision of the NDAA requiring women to register for the draft. I share these concerns and thank Congressman Owens for taking the lead on this issue,” said Rep. Tenney. “Women make tremendous contributions as members of the Armed Forces, and I celebrate their incredible achievements and service. This legislation ensures that women have every opportunity to serve in the future but that they be given the option of making the decision to register for the draft themselves.”

So much for equality under the law.
