I have just had some fascinating information passed to me concerning High Street Supermarket Misandry in the UK.
A gent was waiting for a home delivery from Sainsbury's. When the delivery van arrived he found that a Lady who has been involved in ongoing harassment and even stalking was detaining the driver outside of the house. When the driver arrived he was asked what had transpired and he admitted that he had been asked to report back to this stalker who was making odd claims about the customer.
The customer immediately warned the driver that he was being targeted and this was an ongoing harassment - stalking issue and he should not engage with this female when he left. He was advised that should he be approached he should simply say everything was fine and drive away.
When the driver left he was accosted immediately and detained for some time, with the stalker questioning him. Not only was information about the target demanded by the stalker, but they also made a number of false claims about the target; classic behaviour under the heading of "Grooming The Environment".
Matters were reported to the police immediately as part of ongoing investigation and monitoring.
Sainsbury subsequently reported that the Driver had been pumped for information and also received a screed of negative information from the female stalker/harasser.
Trying to raise the matter with Sainsbury was met with a Tsunami of illiterate responses. It was all about data protection claimed some. A delivery manager confirmed that staff are trained to address DV-IPV when it's a male abuser and female target but not the other way round. They also attempted to claim that that only women are affected and not males.
The Sainsbury's executive office eventually got their act together and decided to respond. They have expressed the view that their Driver Training is fine and that Drivers do not need to be trained to deal with third-party abuse and the drivers being used as vectors for Harassment and or Stalking.
Sainsbury's appears to be concerned about the ladies and due to Institutional Misandry and Sexism, they are not training staff to treat men equally, leaving many elderly men and disabled men at risk.
Other Supermarket chains who deliver are being asked for their policies on Drivers interaction with Third parties and how their staff are trained to avoid being used to Harass or Stalk customers.
Should anyone be surprised that it is proving overly difficult to get a rational response to a rational enquiry to Business Employees who are overwhelmingly female and dismissive of Male Customer Security.
I can report that ASDA is proactive and most helpful in even querying their Policies, Practices and Procedures.
Tesco also is proactive in looking at matters and happy to look at the issues and happy to report back in due course.
Other retailers have also been happy to look at the issues and consider shortfalls in both driver training around equality and diversity as well as customer safety.
Result = Don't Shop At Sainsbury's until they get with Equality and drop the misandry.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
