Sadly reminds of a scenario in Indian floods where fully able women used a man who out of chivalry acted as a stepping stone to get into boats for them. Somebody was requesting women 'that man is not rock, remove your slippers at least', but not many cared.

The loud request from original clip was removed, added with pansy music, blatant chivalry was praised all over in media.

Within few days, the man met an accident on the middle of the road, no body took care of him in time and he passed away on the way to hospital.

Was gut wrenching in a way to read about his tragic demise.

First impression watching that video: It looks like a stunt to me.

First article: He seems more upset about the video being spread around than he is about the event itself and it looks like she’s waiting for him to get out of the water on the other side of the bank... what bully does that?

After reading more into it: Sure enough he was dared to do it. He’s a high school Johnny Knoxville except his mother got involved so now he’s a victim of horrible people instead of a co-conspirator at best or at worst his own primary offender.

I thought we didn’t like people posing as victims when they were entirely willing participants? Pages and pages around here of ‘rape is not an afterthought’ but reverse the roles and suddenly ‘a boy who wilfully participated in a dare is later the victim of a bully’
