The NY Times had a story about this from a month ago if anyone is interested. It sounds like UVA's case except that three female friends accused the guy of raping them instead of just one girl coming forward.

Some more info about this girl who carries a mattress around Columbia as a "visual arts activism event" to protest rape culture and to raise awareness. Her whole mattress-carrying thing is what she is writing her senior thesis about.

I wonder if Senator Gillibrand even cares that Nungesser was exonerated of all charges by Columbia University's kangaroo court.

I miss the good old day when the world made sense. The left was sane, the right had lost its mind to tradcons and religious conservative and i could laugh at people who cite brietbart.

Now brietbart makes more sense and does better reporting than raw story. Left has gone of the rails and forgotten what they were saying a decade ago in regard to Gitmo and Due process stuff. They used to be the fiercest defenders of free speech now they are censors. I used to be able to laugh at the conservative with there bible thumping fringe. “My mother raised me as a feminist, and I’m someone who would like to think of myself as being supportive of equal rights for women,”

I guess he kind of brought it on himself then. I wonder if he's still so happy with those life choices. Male "allies" never seem to quite get how disposable they are to the female feminists.

The boy needs to do a performance piece of his own -- one in which he wears a noose around his neck whenever he's on campus. On the other hand, this being a university, it may just lead to him being literally, rather than figuratively, lynched.

Also, i see nothing in the story about him being driven out of school.

A party cannot be compelled to act against their beliefs.

The accuser seemingly believes that she was raped, therefore she cannot be compelled to act against that. Carrying the mattress, making statements that go against the finding of other lawful process, and do forth.
