It's not dumb. It says it right in the form.

A form used for survey and polling purposes cannot be a form used to anonymous report rapes and sexual assaults. These are two divergent purposes. For the former, you want to ensure no false negatives and will be very lax about specific details. In the latter you want to catch a rapist and details are critical.

Oxy says they use this form to spot trends. Oxy says they do not take information from this form to bring people to a grievance process.

Either Oxy is lying, or the form is not being used how you claim it is.

Add in to that that Oxy refuses, illegally, to release the number of rapes and sexual assaults reported on this form, and why would they do that(?) and you can conclude Oxy is totally full of shit in how they use this form and how they have reported on it.

Ah, I see one of the Queen She-bats has descended from on high to pick and choose the parts she wants to be outraged about.

No, Missus. I could care less about her saggy fried egg tits flapping about. The disgusting part is that she chose to impose her "message" in a way that was designed only to be obnoxious, ignorant, selfish and disrespectful to people who were just going about their day, participating in a ceremony that was important to them. Same as if she had done it at a funeral, memorial service, or any other ceremony that people hold spiritually important.

Is this how we in men's rights fight our battles? Have we no class?

We wield our arguments like a sword while spiting feminists for taking up arms, but we don't even see our hypocrisy has rusted the blade to the point where it is useless now.

Are we really going to fight fire with fire? Do we think that will solve anything?

What this woman in the picture did was appalling, but I hardly think that what she did is approved of by all women, or even all feminists.

Likewise what happened with the fake reports on that online sexual assault report tool was appalling, and I certainly didn't agree with it.

It's time to figure this shit out. I came here to learn about and fight for men's rights, not to battle feminism at every turn. They're not the enemy. The only enemy is the hate we've created between ourselves.

I'm not completely sure if you're being sarcastic and condescending, or genuine and polite. I have a backbone, I just feel that using my big voice has less of an effect when everyone else is already speaking in theirs. The contrast usually draws attention better than yelling does.

Difference of opinion I guess, but in this gender feud I wouldn't expect the feminist extremists to respect our sub with the way things have been going. Besides, slander from their sub or slander from them on ours is still slander. I agree that their arguments don't belong here, but with a post that is essentially bashing feminism for the atrocities of one woman (my opinion) how could you not expect them to come here to defend themselves? I think if the situation were reversed, there would still be men rushing to naked guy at church's defense, if the feminism sub was blaming /r/mensrights. Either way, I can see why they would see this post as a challenge, and would come to answer it.

Furthermore, I don't even see how the original post has anything to do with men's rights. It illustrates the division between feminism and men's rights, yes, but is that what we're worried about here?

You and others are free to debate as logically and as carefully neutral as you wish.

Is this not the standard here? If so, by all means, let me know, because I'm in the wrong place, and I don't want to impose on your hospitality any longer.

I never understood how sarcastically embellishing an accusation could be seen as a good defense, especially if it's used as the opening argument.

BRDs and other assorted Fembots can't seem to get past sounding like petulant, defensive children when they argue. I find that this particular defense comes up mostly when it's a verbal, person-to-person argument.

The more predominant juvenile tactic online is to back out of the argument by claiming the opponent's completely and utterly full of shit, while refusing to expound on exactly why they're full of shit.

To try and distract people from that fact, they start acting more obnoxious and hateful towards the opponent, saying why it's pointless to argue against "such an obvious moron", and using that as a literal exit to the argument altogether.

The thing about occi was there was a sodding point to it. An online form allowing people to register a sexual assualt charge anonymously removes the risk of a false accusation charge, thereby removing the incentive to not make a false claim, and also strips the accused of fundamental rights. While i found the method a bit callous (and totally disagree with anyone who used an actual person's name), I believe that anyone who filed an obviously satirical claim (ie: the ones filed against inanimate objects or claiming that a legal entity somehow physically assaulted them) were justified in their actions. The only victims of the satirical ones are the poor sods who have to read through them (and it wouldn't take long when you can skip the ones that accuse mickey mouse, odin, the norse god of thunder, and the mirror in the boy's toilets), and may end up saving the reputations of dozens of innocent men who may end up as victims of abuse of this system.

Meanwhile, we have this woman who, with no goal, has waddled in to one of the most important church services of the year with the direct aim of disrupting an event that means a lot to many people. The atheists on reddit get a lot of flak for being arrogant and disrespectful, but I doubt most of them would ever even think of doing something like this. The worst part is that she's not doing it for any specific cause. It's not like the occi incident where there was a serious reason to act. Germany is one of the more progressive nations in Europe. It's not like the US or Mexico, where women have to clash with the church for reproductive rights, nor are there any major issues for the homosexual community. The only reason that women is up there is arrogance and spite.

When we act, we do so for a reason, don't compare us to her.

Right wingers and Christians regularly try to push a their message here. It happens. It is the result of not being authoritarian in our moderation.

This would also imply that I (as OP) am a Right winger and a Christian. I am neither. What I am however, is respectful of other people. Until they prove unworthy of that respect either by their actions or their words that are disrespectful of others.

I posted this not so much because the idiot disrespected a religion, but because she disrespected a church full of people. PEOPLE. Who were gathered for a service that was special and important (and yes, sacred) to them. Which is specifically why I stated earlier that it would have been just as disgusting if she had done it at a funeral, a memorial or even a wedding. She chose to take a solemn moment in other people's lives and disrespect it to serve her political/social agenda. Just. Like. Westboro. She chose to make her statement in the largest group of people that she disagrees with as she could for maximum shock. I can think of another group of extremists who uses those tactics. They usually have C4 vests on.

I would have posted this here no matter what event she chose to interrupt, so don't assume this has a religious slant. I don't agree with Christian doctrine but I respect another person's right to worship their religion as they see fit, and in peace.

I appreciate the mods here not just making kneejerk assumptions and removing posts that don't line up perfectly with their ideas. I appreciate them allowing discussions on varying opinions and not militantly ramrodding the Party Line. That's just one more thing among many that the Missus could learn from us.

And as for if this post is a Men's Rights topic...If the Oxy spamming is an SRS worthy issue then this most definitely is for us.
