This is a big social problem in India. Has the article says:

Does that means that till now in India you could successfully say that and win a case? India has a lot of fucked up laws that affects people negatively. This continues because give power to some people, in this case thr parents, and they like to keep the control.

I wonder how many people see the resemblence to incels. Incel makes secret agreement to be nice in exchange for sex but than sex doesn't happen. This points to important issue - if you are willing to provide sex in exchange for a favor or vice versa, you need to tell the partner before either is given. If partner lies to get what he/she wants, it becomes rape, as stated in article:

Logically, incels cannot just walk to a girl and say they would like sex for X days of being nice, or girl cannot tell a guy she will have sex only if they will get married. Possible solution, if they are not willing to do one without another, is to expect "reward" before service, AKA sex before being nice, AKA get married before sex. If the idea of providing service without reward equals rape, than maybe those people shouldn't provide the service at all.
