Study found that teaching women college students to firmly say "no" cut rapes by 50%. So why aren't feminists pushing hard to roll this out everywhere?
There was a news story on facebook a day or two ago about a 15 year old girl getting raped by a guy then again by a bother guy she asked for help.
Obviously totally horrific. Not the girl's fault at all.
One commenter made the mistake of asking why the girl's parents allowed a 15 year old girl to be out alone in the middle of the night.
Well, you can imagine the reactions. Angry, insulting, swearing. People literally acted as if the commenter had said "It's the girl's fault that she got raped because she was out late. She deserved to be raped." Which is so far from what the commenter was really getting at.
It's insane the way people react. There's no other crime where the victim cannot be criticised even slightly for any decision they made that put them in that vulnerable position.
Woman walking alone through an abandoned area in the middle of the night? No problem. If anything happens to her it's the perp's fault, so why try and be safe or avoid dangerous situations.
The working thing is, this can create a culture of women not being told to be careful. To walk in groups, to get a taxi home, to avoid taking short-cuts. Good sensible advice is stigmatised because it "blames the victim".

I believe this could very well be true. I think along with "no", male and female should also be taught "is this OK?"

While not occurring in all cases... The physical trauma sustained from rape can be extremely violent and or life threatening.
Why even waste time debating this, and giving feminists more fuel to add to the nonsense belief that all MRA's are just empathy lacking misogynists.
