Feminists often say that the domestic work disproportionally performed by women is an example of "unpaid labor" unfairly forced upon women by societal gender roles.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Domestic work is not in any way, shape, or form a "labor" comparable to an actual job.

here's how you can tell: Imagine a single living on their own in an apartment. They pay their own rent, and is the only person living in the apartment. Obviously, they have to do their own dishes and laundry and cleaning.

Now, do you think this person should be paid for doing their dishes and laundry and cleaning? No, of course not. It's a ridiculous idea. So why does that change just because the person doing the domestic work is a female who lives entirely off the work of someone else? And that brings me to my next point.

I think domestic "labor" is the LEAST a woman can do for a man that literally funds her entire life. He works and pays for EVERYTHING- her car, her clothes, her lunches with friends- her entire life is lived for free, thanks to the man's work. She essentially lives like a teenager. So why shouldn't she have chores like a teenager? Shouldn't she at least contribute SOMETHING to the relationship?
