Hi all,

I'm a longtime lurker here, of about 3 years. During this time I've been inspired and educated by so many of your posts; so first and foremost, thank you.

I'm trying to do my bit for men's fight against sexism, by starting a new Instagram channel at instagram.com/thetinmen/ intended to help spread the message where I can.

As you'll see, its new and has only a few followers, but I gotta start somewhere and thought I'd bring it back to you guys for your support and any advice or guidance you can offer.

Naturally, I'm still working out the specifics of what I want to achieve with The Tin Men, but so far I want my content to meet the following criteria:

+ Issues will be sourced from actual data and relevant research, which will be clearly cited.

+ Unlike much of feminism, I want the message to be balanced. This means examining both sides of the equation - with both genders part of the conversation. So there will be the occasional nod to women and women's issues, and how they play into men's issues too.

+ Any third party artwork that I use as part of my posts will be credited.

Take a look and let me know your thoughts, perhaps it's not for you, perhaps it is.

I look forward to posting more and adding to the conversation.

Thanks all, keep doing what you're doing.

TTM
