Of course they're uncomfortable, I'd be uncomfortable.

Years of hard work, years of education, years of building a reputation, and years of sacrifice all down the drain because some female falsely accused me of sexually harassing or raping her. No one to hear the other side of the story because men=evil is the narrative that society plays by, the narrative your employer fires you on, the narrative the courts live by as money is lost to predatory attorneys, prosecutors, etc... This doesn't even include the psychological/emotional damage that a male employee would have to deal with as he is further shamed, threatened and destroyed by society. If he's lucky and it's proven that it was a false claim the damage has already been done: employment prospects in the future are gone, he'll still be shamed and seen as a criminal along with being left alone to pick up the pieces (most families and friends would abandon you in a second without waiting to hear your side of the story these days). Does he get any form of fair reimbursement for being put through this? Unlikely, most likely she walks off as it never happened with sometimes not even as little as her name made public whilst yours is being vilified on the cover of media outlets.
