KEY FACTS Prosecutors play a preeminent role in America’s criminal justice system. While most prosecutors are ethical, a variety of factors can induce prosecutors to act in unethical ways. Fact #1: Since 1989, there have been over 2,500 documented cases of persons who have been convicted and later exonerated (1).
Fact #2: An estimated 43% of wrongful convictions arise from misconduct involving prosecutors, police, investigators, and other officials (1).
Fact #3: More than 90% of criminal cases are adjudicated during closed-door plea-bargain negotiations. These cases have little or no public accountability (2).
Fact #4: The following are the most common types of ethical violations committed by prosecutors (3):
Failure to disclose exculpatory evidence (Brady violation) Use of inadmissible or false evidence/lack of candor to the court Plea bargain offense Inflammatory statements/witness harassment Mischaracterizing the evidence Vouching Fact #5: Fewer than 2% of cases of prosecutor misconduct are subject to public sanctions. When sanctions are imposed, they are often slight (4).
Fact #6: Americans are concerned about the fairness of our criminal justice system (5).
Even if you'd want to consider false allegations a crime this still doesn't compare to true allegations of crimes that lead to convictions. There are more perpetrators of sexual assault walking away with a slap on the risk and yes the majority of them are male. So trust that there are far more men being accused and convicted then there would ever be of women. Also for men that have been sexually assaulted, how many or them were sexually assaulted by women vs men? How many false allegations made about them were made by other men?
Another thing to keep in mind is that women outnumber men. So yeah. 🙃
"Among men, being made to penetrate someone else could have occurred in multiple ways: being made to vaginally penetrate a female using one’s own penis; orally penetrating a female’s vagina or anus; anally penetrating a male or female; or being made to receive oral sex from a male or female. It also includes female perpetrators attempting to force male victims to penetrate them, though it did not happen."
Most perpetrators of all forms of sexual violence against women were male. For female rape victims, 98.1% reported only male perpetrators. Additionally, 92.5% of female victims of sexual violence other than rape reported only male perpetrators. For male victims, the sex of the perpetrator varied by the type of sexual violence expe- rienced. The majority of male rape victims (93.3%) reported only male perpetrators. For three of the other forms of sexual violence, a majority of male victims reported only female perpetrators: being made to penetrate (79.2%), sexual coercion (83.6%), and unwanted sexual contact (53.1%). For non-contact unwanted sexual experiences, approximately half of male victims (49.0%) reported only male perpe- trators and more than one-third (37.7%) reported only female perpetrators (data not shown).
Being Made to Penetrate Someone Else Approximately 1 in 21 men (4.8%) <<<<<MEN reported having been made to penetrate someone else in his lifetime (Table 2.2). Too few women reported being made to penetrate someone else to produce a reliable estimate (Table 2.1).
You're comparing "being made to penetrate" to "forced penetration" and they're not equal in frequency to rape. The tables show that they're not.
Men = 4.8% (made to penetrate--in a lifetime)= 5.541million male victims = 4,388,472 perpetrators were female leaving 1, 152, 528 male perpetrators
Men = 1.1% (made to penetrate--in a 12 month year) =1.267million male victims. = 1,003,464 perpetrators were female leaving 236,536 male perpetrators
Women= 25.5% (complete penetration, forced penetration, inebriated penetration--in a lifetime). = 30.393million female victims = 28,113,525 perpetrators were male leaving 2,279,475 female perpetrators
Women= 1.6% (complete penetration, forced penetration, inebriated penetration-- in a 12 month year) = 1.920million female victims= 1,776,000 perpetrators were male leaving 144,000 female perpetrators
1,776,000 (male perpetrators of women) > 1,003, 464 (female perpetrators of men). Keep in mind that women outnumber men in America. So statistically based on population by gender, women should have higher rates than men BUT men tend to commit acts of sexual violence far more than women.
Now how does this tie into false allegations of rape made by women? When there is data backing that the majority of women that do come forward are actual victims of rape. Their allegations are true. There are so many women who have been raped but don't know what to call it or fear that nothing will he done so they don't come forward. The numbers of men falsely accused isn't significant enough in comparison to rightful accusations to be a thing that is a detriment to men in society.
I'm not debating whether or not sexual assault occurs with men because it can and it does happen. However you are trying to prove that it is so high that it is significant enough to cast a shadow over sexual assault of women when It doesn't and won't ever be a thing. Also, you're pressing this idea that there are far more male victims of false rape allegations by women than there are true rape allegations by women. You haven't presented any data about false rape allegations by men accusing women. That is what you should be comparing and nothing else.
This is weird that you want this to be a thing so bad despite the factual evidence of women outnumbering men yet being sexually assaulted at such high rates.
Sir, you are taking oranges and comparing them to apples then telling people about melons. All I insisted for you was to present consistency with Data showing false rape allegations by women against men and then to compare them to false allegations by men against women. You've already established that men can be forced to penetrate women (can't mention rape because those acts are all practically committed by men against men). However, you don't have any data on false allegations of sexual assault by men against women.
Made to penetrateoccurs the majority of time with intimate partners and acquaintances (both male and female; majority being female). Not with random perpetrators attacking them for example, let's say--while jogging. However forced penetration on women occurs in high numbers by intimate partners, acquaintances and strangers.
It seems to me that you're not into spreading the awareness of men being victims of rape/sexual assault but trying to establish a victimhood for men in competition with women. Being victims of anything shouldn't be a competitive sport. In a male dominated society where even men commit the highest level of sexual assault against other men you're trying to use 'made to penetrate a woman' data to not create awareness but as an attack on women. You're trying to create a "See, look what these women are doing to us men. No one is paying attention because women got them all fooled" narrative. Which is hard to do because realistically the data does not compare.
You're giving me incel vibes, man...but you can regain some footing if you can present false allegations of sexual assault by gender (inclusive of both men and women). This would bring clarity to put 'things' into perspective. 😑
