There's an article in today's Metro about how undocumented migrants are suffering at detention centres in the UK. FWIW, I think we need to stop imprisoning them altogether whilst their asylum claims are being processed, but whatever your views, why should this be a gender issue.

The article reads as if only women can suffer trauma and that they should be treated differently. No mention of all the men currently locked up because they're fleeing war torn countries or dangerous authoritarian governments.

The thing that Society refuses to admit to is that men have a higher rate of suicide and other mental illnesses because of the stress in the fact that Society will not let men seek help
