The same people who cry about toxic masculinity and how many place so much importance in their "sexual success" are the first ones to turn around and reinforce that notion by using it to shame men.

Also anecdotally, I started having a lot more success with women once I ditched feminism, because I started treating them as human beings, instead of fragile porcelain dolls who needed to be put on a pedestal.

I used to be obsessed with the idea that I needed a girlfriend and sex. But I realised most of that was due to the expectations of society. Men and women are judged on how attractive they are to the opposite sex.

I would seek out relationships just to feel valid, but then I realised I actually like the freedom of being single. I no longer consider sex a core part of life.
