Great idea, but horrible wording. The literal definition of it is a great concept for discussing issues affecting men, but why did they pick the highly emotionally charged word toxic juxtaposed to masculinity when coining the term? The same movement that brought to us womyn and herstory ends up picking toxic masculinity. Overall, the feminist movement has had a message that we should listen to people more and take their feelings more seriously. However, why can't they see the negative connotation in "toxic masculinity" when they'll get angry over gender marking in job titles?
