This attitude has been pushed at least since I started high school 15 years ago, probably well before that even. Women go into college living in fear of men being out to get them and the men are walking a tight rope wanting to cultivate relationships with women but being terrified of being booted out of university/criminal charges if they say the wrong thing. And the problem seems to be getting worse not better.

And they wonder why millennials and gen z are having less sex/relationships than ever.. jeez.

The persecution complex of feminists on reddit is of absolutely cosmic proportions.

I've read TwoX and feminism a few times a week for years. Just the front page. I've noticed that they just repeat themselves time and time again. They include things like:

Hateful generalizations about men.
Complaints about men responding to their hateful generalizations.
Claims that reddit users enjoy watching women get beat up, citing posts from the front page. These posts exclusively show women attacking men first and then getting hit. The underlying belief that the feminists show is that it's OK for women to hit men, and it only becomes a problem when men hit women back.
Misrepresentations of the number of incels on reddit. Since the word "incel" has lost all meaning I suppose their belief that half the men who use reddit are incels makes a great deal of sense to them, but Jesus.
Beliefs that reddit admins conspire with MRAs and shut down feminists. Reddit is one of the most pro-feminist spaces on the entire fucking internet and they actually believe it's an MRA website.

They're completely neurotic, jumping at every creak in the night, thinking it's a proverbial man waiting to jump out of the bushes and get them. They feed into each other's delusions constantly, radicalizing themselves. The most fucked up thing is that the mods actively feed into this by banning any dissent, including respectful commentary about how a story was portrayed incorrectly to feed into a narrative.

I never really understood this logic from women. As if being cold or indifferent to psychotic men would somehow not set them off even more, or as if there wasn't plenty of women out there who go head over heels for attractive men ignoring all caution and as if women didn't often romanticize psychotics men. Seems like the best thing to do would be to be nice to everyone and try to get to know them, as to determine whether they are psychos or not.

That's a bit ironic. I often see women being bolder then men because they know the consequences will be lighter or there won't be any at all because they are women. They are less likely to be held accountable or subject to violence; while men are a lot more cautious because they know there will be actual consequences.

Funny thing. Women complain that they "never know which man might be a psycho" and then, in the same breath, complain about men objectifying women, since men "never know which woman might be a psycho".

This thought pattern is "ok" when women say it, but "totally insensitive/sexist/incompetent" when men utter it, as if men don't risk death, financial destruction, reputation destruction, familial destruction, or destruction of internal peace and calm when interacting with a female psycho.

Identical thought pattern, resulting in nearly identical outcomes (neither one talks to the other), just different perspectives and stories (that often lack accurate inputs/insights) depending on gender.

I don't understand why women like this make hugely generalized statements about other women and make the entire issue about themselves instead of just talking about OP's experience and being a decent person. Then when someone challenges her general statement and assumptions they're automatically wrong cuz they're a man. I mean look, if you don't think you behave that way that's fine but you aren't the representative for fucking half of humanity. Some women don't compliment men bc they are gay.
