Why Do So Many Women Normalize Profiling Of Men?

You might have noticed this. A guy rants about how he was assumed to be a threat (profiled) by a woman because of an awkward social moment. And then when he rants about it, he gets replied to by " Oh you don't know what it's like to be a woman. We have to be on guard all the time, so just don't take it personally ".

While that makes sense, ultimately who is the aggressor in that situation?

Because if you relate this same phenomenon to any other area of life, it instantly is seen as a valid issue. Imagine being black and everywhere you go, you get suspisciously eyed by police officers. Is that a way to live life? And who would the aggressor in that situation be? Nobody would normalize that kind of behavior. But they do normalize it when it comes to gender issues.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
