Eh, "Generally, breast implants used for purely cosmetic reasons are not available on the NHS and need to be paid for privately.".

Boob jobs available on the NHS are either reconstructive or reductions. I feel bad for the guy, but ultimately the surgery would be purely cosmetic and 99.9999% of the time wouldn't be granted to a woman either.

Anyone else think the NHS is right to turn him down? It's not like he has giant floppy boobs, or loose skin hanging down. He looks fine. And while 3,000 British pounds isn't pocket change, he could save up money for it if it's that important to him.

I have pectus excavatum, and my chest looks way worse than his. It would cost $35,000 to fix, if I wanted to go the surgery route... which I don't particularly need, since it doesn't affect my life unless my shirt's off. I think this guy needs to learn to just deal with his minor imperfections.

IF the UK covers breast reconstruction for females who have had disfiguring surgeries for health reasons, then they should cover this man who has a disfiguring medical condition.

But I gotta say... I have seen a lot worse disfigurements on Brits that nobody seems to be able to get fixed. Such as their teeth. This guy's mild asymmetry is not the first place I would want my tax dollars to go if I were a UK citizen.

Apparently in england the government pays for vagina reconstructive surgery. This includes surgery that "restores virginity"

It can be on the NHS if he was suicidal and couldn't afford it, a friend of a friend had facial plastic surgery purely cosmetically on the nhs i think.
