I identify as MGTOW. To me that only means I've opted out of marriage and long-term relationships with women, as is my right. No one is obligated to marry. I don't harbor any hostility toward women. There is certain bad behavior by some women that I object to, and I feel that's my right as well. If a woman cheats on her husband, I won't call her "empowered". I'll just call her a cheater.

So that's where I stand. My MGTOW stance is not political. My politics are something different. I was surprised to learn that some MGTOW are in favor of revoking women's right to vote. I strongly disagree with that. IMO a representative democracy works best if both men and women cast informed votes. IMO we've had problems with both men and women casting highly uninformed votes. We in the US suffer from a misinformation problem, not a problem of a particular gender voting.

We're at about 100 years now of universal women's suffrage. It's been even longer in some parts of the country. (Some states passed suffrage before the Constitution was changed to mandate it.) I don't see women's suffrage as a bad thing. I was surprised that some MGTOW see it as bad. There is disagreement in MGTOW forums over it. I was wondering how it is here in Men's Rights. Do most MRAs support women's suffrage?
