My experience has taught me that everyone can be emotional and that people can be driven by their emotions.

Also to clarify - punching a wall indicates emotion. Anger is emotion. Frustration is emotion. Sadness is emotion. Crying indicates emotion. Fear is emotion. Love is emotion (mixture of joy, trust, acceptance, admiration, serenity...). Etc...

Here's a guide.

But the TRP belief I hear often is that men are rational and not emotional, women are the opposite.

  • As a woman who dates men, I have keen insight into just how emotional men are in relationships.

  • As a woman who mentors young men (12-21), I see just how emotional young males are.

  • I work with mostly men and I have seen computer monitors thrown across board rooms in fits of anger. I have seen people fired due to ego, not performance.

So I don't buy into the belief that "men are more rational or less emotional."

What I do believe is that men pride themselves on appearing less emotional.

Even when you peruse online forums or the manosphere or TRP, I observe extremely emotionally charged posts frequently, in fact it appears to be the norm.

What are your thoughts TRP?

Are men naturally less emotional or are men conditioned to appear less emotional?
