You're discounting the men who have already tried maxxing out on presentation, presence, and status. A lot of the men who are saying the things you're saying are aware of all this, and have already tried everything you're talking about. Ok, I will try to make a quick analysis, correct me if I'm wrong.

In my opinion, something I see is very common here on PPD and other pills/dating subforums but also IRL is that average and below average looking men are meassuring themselves against good looking men in the kind of inmediate sexual response they cause in women, because after all it's the physical/sexual response from women what most men across all ages and all over the looks scale crave the most.

Most men are not as concerned about status or personality when they chose their partners, and arguably they are concerned about a woman's look more than the desire of being desired by their partners, and given the fact that male standards for sex are lower than women's thus women are handled more and better choices for casual sex and temporary sexual relationships, it seems that the men who don't score high on the looks department feel like they will never evoke in their female partners the same feelings and sexual lust some of their previous partners did.

This is also the root of a recurrent fear some of these men exhibit, the fear of being treated as second best, or to get a different (lesser) treatment in comparisson with good looking men despite having to perform in other aspects to compensate their lack of looks.

The fixiation most men have today, even more than in past times in my experience, with their girlfriends and wives' past, again in my opinion as a male, comes from fearing she could have had better, hence the posibility that her would look down on him behind his back.

Some of these fears are irrational, but some others hold some truth in it.

Not saying women are to blame, of course, they are just excersicing their right to chose their sexual partners and living their sexuality the way they want, but this is the core of the issue.

Some weird thought here, perhaps these men wouldn't feel as coned as they feel now if they were able to experience the dating life the way women do, and started to atract the attention of good looking women who want nothing but sex from them? It would be hilarious, just a weird fantasy however, we would have to reverse the biology of men and women for this haha.

Of course, the more open society becomes towards sex the more problems these men will have to find a balance between their deepest emotions and a healthy dating life.

In my opinion, Blackpillers and Incels say some self-defeatist and negative things that no one should say, but it must some truth in all that mess. Somehow, for some guys it must feel it is a lose-lose game indeed.

That's why I agree with these MIGTOW dudes when they recommend unlucky guys to accept the reality and move on with life, it's a good advice (kind of zen shit actually) for those men that tried and failed and want to ease the pain. Like "hey bro, you don't need to be good looking to live a happy and fullfilling life" you know, this is a good thing and a positive aproach to reality.

So, to resume, yes, some men will never recieve the same treatment from women, some men will never get the super hot spontaneous sex other guys get, some guys will never get laid with a barely cute girl, and some guys will never get laid at all. Exactly, I’ve always been in the top 5% height, blessed with top tier facial aesthetics and am very athletic. But I was practically a virgin until 19/20 because I was introverted, boring and I treated women with the upmost respect.

Men who consider themselves ugly believe they do not fit the male gaze of attractiveness. The female gaze is what they should focus on when trying to better themselves if their main goal is to get a partner. "I am a "6" so I should be slamming pussy with "6" women." That "6" they're talking about is probably only their "looks" assessment. For all we know, they are a 2/10 in Presentation, Presence, and Status respectively which is a combined grand total of an SMV of 3.

I never quite got the hang how looks and apparently behaviour too can be captured in a single number. I mean I get that 5 is an average looking person, but can we quickly recapitulate the maths governing this?

Is it more like a bell curve centering at five, or perhaps a cut off bell curve? Or are all numbers equally frequent?

Also you suggest that looks, presence, status and so on has to be added up for arithmetic averaging. In my experience (I'm not thinking in numbers but red flags) if a person shows a red flag (eg has an abrasive personality) I'm no longer interested, regardless of looks. I think in your numbers this would be better represented with the minimum of all numbers as the common number. If for some reason one of the numbers is not relevant for the chosen social setting, the smallest relevant number determines the total number.

Also don't presence and status depend strongly on personal preference aand context? If you wanted to determine the number representing it, how would you go about it?
