Which worlds? Go to the gym? Or Saudi Arabia? World of Warcraft? Which one will optimize my success with the opposite sex? Who do I want to be? Who should I be to optimize my success?

What do I offer? Genes or resources? Too dichotomous? How do I know?

Also, why does any of this even work?

Or is asking questions and looking for reasons for why action A works more than action B the problem? Why is it a problem?

I would say it refers more to the way women see you in their lives. I've been both the AF and the BB

AF: When they see me this way, they would come over and leave at the times I request, fuck in the ways I wanted, maybe cook or clean for me, or buy me some gifts. All of this was unsolicited because they believed I was a top-quality man. Man, that shit was easy.

BB: You would be surprised how many gold diggers are out there or people who want you other than for stability and resources. Look, I have a pretty good income and career, there is a target on my back. That means it is extra important to weed out these types and fuck me, there are some damn good liars out there. There are girls that will play the long game and fuck you silly for years until you marry them only to turn into a completely different person. Think about those ID channel psychos (dated one). They are professional liars and the existence of one is scary enough. If they are even one percent of the population, that's a massive amount. They are on the hunt for easy marks just as much as PUAs are on the hunt for easy lays. Being careful and taking steps not to fall into these traps is hardly unhealthy.

It's easier than you think to get duped when the laws are not stacked in your favor.

To start with the premises, you would have to clarify "all men want". It's bone dead obvious from just looking that men prefer the looks of young women with BMIs of 20 or so, although I have seen some studies that claim late 20s is the most attractive.

TRP does emphasize not getting married and largely downplays long-term commitments because the odds of it turning out bad for men is substantial. And while there are all these claims about manipulation or coercion or whatever, the most powerful tool that TRP goes on about is the next. To have the power to walk away is the power to get out of a bad relationship.

So TRP says that men should be willing to get out of a bad relationship, but nowhere is it doctrinaire that all men want no strings attached sex. There is a lot of room between having "strings" and being roped in and tied down. Most prefer an ongoing, mutually satisfying relationship, although many don't. I am more of a serial monogamist rather than a plate spinner but the latter does not imply completely meaningless sex nor does it deny the prospect of "promoting" a plate to girlfriend or LTR status if they are worth it.

There is nothing desperate about wanting to be a person that other people want to be in a relationship with. You can't criticize TRP men and their approach without also criticizing women (the majority, AWALT and all) because it gets results.

Nothing wrong with intelligent conversation, but really if you were that desperate for it you would seek out men too and not be here, and the fact that you might have something growing "organically" over some unspecified period of time is no criticism of actively cultivating attraction.

Now personally, I have never gone to a bar to pick up women and I think it is kind of dumb. I have met and do meet the vast majority of lovers (ONS, STR, LTR) through tech media: telephone dating in the 90's and internet dating in the new millennium.

The default on TRP seems to be night game, and we can agree that it's not the best way to do things. However, there is also day game which is going out to explore and then hit on someone you think is interesting.

The other thing that I have written about is getting involved with something that provides you with the opportunity to meet a series of interesting people of the opposite sex.

I could go on for another thousand words but here is one example. In Toronto there is an organization called LIFT: Liaison of Independent Film Makers of Toronto. It's a non-profit group that provides resources and networking to help people get low-budget (micro-budget) movies done. Volunteer your skills with LIFT, spend a few weekends working on a ~~wannabe~~ up and coming director's first film and you will meet a variety of people of all genders (and I do mean all), mostly young but not exclusively so, of whom many are attractive and even strikingly so.

Or take a night class to learn Spanish or whatever, but there you go.

Having said that, being fit, building frame, developing game (and you can insert whatever dismissive label you like, it doesn't change what is being discussed) will enable you to engage with, meet, attract and get into a relationship all the more than "allowing things to grow organically" like moss on a stone that isn't rolling.

People want money and they are willing to work for it. We don't call that desperation. Money don't grow on trees. If you want money, unless you are lucky enough to inherit it, you work for it. Men need sex and are willing to put in some work for it and that is desperate somehow? Women don't just go around ringing men's doorbells asking if they need sex. If men want sex its going to cost them.

You are focusing on the men's side of it, the reactions, and ignoring what triggered it. I don't think you can talk about AF/BB without keeping both halves in mind.

At this point, it would take determined reality-denier to claim that women don't largely date for excitement/hot sex early on, and then security/provision/status after the bloom of youth is gone. The only argument is whether this is A Good And Inevitable Thing (blue pill, Lean In) or a nasty pattern that leaves way too many men without decent partners and damages the remaining decades of the womens' lives (RP.)

So the guys working these things out applied labels, AF and BB. They do also acknowledge the ideal of alpha bucks, which really just means a man that is sexually exciting, loyalty inspiring and willing to commit. That last bit is what you are telling people to become, right? People finding one another and liking the whole package? I propose that a lot of red pill men have that goal in mind anyway.

TRP focuses on AF because they are doing some drastic overhauls with unappealing men, with the goal of putting power back into the mens' hands. The moderateness and balance comes later. I think the bit about power will never ring true with you, because you are more typically feminine in your needs and desires. Am I remembering correctly?
