One central overlap that I've noticed in all of these subs and movements from MGTOW, TRP, FDS, BP, and ROK is the restriction of individual freedom towards their members and their study subjects. To them, there's a way the social world is supposed to be. If these social world doesn't conform with that expectation, there is a problem. They remind me a lot of Lily Allen's song, "22," where she said, "When she was 22, the future looked bright. But she's nearly 30 now, and she's out every night. It's sad, but it's true how society says her life is already over" These narratives are a not only toxic but overly dramatic way of looking at the world. The narratives put high expectations on yourself and the high expectations of your partner.

It's the complete opposite of a "Live and let live attitude." Most people seem to not care about "value differences" and want to find someone they like. For instance, I had a friend who dated an older woman. He seemed not to have cared so much about her past or society standards.
