Going off this thread by u/spacechicken1990 on how to solve sexlessness I noticed quite a few posters pointed to the problem of welfare, as being one of the main culprits of that is fueling the sexlessness and female hypergamy.

Some examples of comments that point to welfare as a problem:

1.

Stop the governments funding of women with men's money. Remove welfare, unfair divorce and child support laws, gender quotas, legalize financial abortion etc. etc. This would make women be more considerate of who they date and fuck, limit the cock carousel to a degree.

2.

Sexless men wouldn't be "checking out of society" if society wasn't biased against them. Men are paying taxes into supplying condoms in the name of planned parenthood, are not actually given the opportunity to use them. Men are paying for childcare and education while not having any opportunity to father their own.

It doesn't have to be like this. We can follow an Asian model. Sexless men wouldn't check out of society because their government isn't bias against them. Its a low tax low benefits strategy. Society still doesn't give a fuck about them, but society also doesn't subsidize women's poor choices. Deadbeat got you prego and left you? Well have fun taking care of the bastard child, the government isn't gonna give taxpayer money to help you. Women would think twice before fucking around with alphas over the stable betas.

The gist of the argument seems to be that society via tax payer dollars which are disapprionstely paid by men are funding women’s poor life choices that are include them choosing hot exciting men over stable betas. Because women know if their relationship with the exciting guy doesn’t work out, ex: he leaves her as a single mother, they can just get welfare via tax payer money to take care of them they have no incentive to change their behavior.

I am not saying I agree with this assertion but I think it’s something worth debating. Do you think if all welfare benefits were eliminated tomorrow that would change women’s mating strategy and choices? Do you think single motherhood would suddenly decline dramatically and beta men would have an easier time getting sex? Or do you think nothing will change, people would just become poorer?

For what it’s worth, I found this chart which breaks down tax payers by gender from New Zealand, it seems to support the idea that women pay less taxes, so it’s mostly men’s money funding the welfare system.
