For people with jealousy issues when casually dating, what are the upsides you have found to casually seeing a girl who is also casually seeing other guys (or a guy who is also seeing other girls)?

When I was dating but not looking for a life partner I did not think about what the person I was spending time with did when they were not with me. I instead enjoyed their company when we made plans to spend time together.

I didnt date the kind of guy who was into one night stands, I dated the kind of guy who would eventually find another person to spend their lives with. One fellow I dated had a family dinner most Sundays where his parents would invite suitable girls and he would complain to me about it, other then that there was nothing to handle as our lives were never going to be spent together.

With my husband we established right away that we were a match for each other, as we shared upbringings, parental styles, class, etc etc. We never casually dated.

My jealousy issue is I don’t feel enough jealousy, so obviously it tends to work nicely for me.
