For those of you that "switched sides" Why? What information made you change your views/what was the chain of events that lead to it?

I learned most Red Pill lessons on my own in the 80s. I learned by trial and error and just plain luck and circumstance. I was a fat kid who lost weight when I was 18. I learned just how important looks were. I learned how much women like guys with don't give a fuck attitudes when women I didn't care about wouldn't leave me alone. I learned how much women like dangerous guys when I got into fights (with guys) and women who observed responded very positively.

When I was in my 40s I fell in love and gave up my wicked ways. I became a total Blue Pill chump because that's what I thought my wife wanted. I was incredibly happy and content. I worked my ass off trying to give my wife the life she said she wanted. In the process I neglected to take care of myself. My weight creeped up and I developed a heart condition. My wife lost attraction and flipped 180 degrees from being loving and supportive to lying, cheating, and yes even stealing. I ended up alone in a cardiac ICU bed. Lying there I had a lot of time to reflect on my mistakes. Like the villain in any number of movies I went over/back to the dark side and recreated myself.

I used to think this choose one side the red or blue was real but anytime anyone is offering you a binary choice like that it's a trap. I used to pick one side, then later I picked the other side. Much later I realized reality is so far different than the standard explanations we're given to keep us controlled.

I used to probably be what’s considered an incel, and unfortunately because I’m well spoken, present as intelligent, and charismatic among friends, most of the male ones followed me.

I resented women for what I felt was the illogical decision to choose and stay with men who would treat them like trash. There was also bias in there as well, since there was one guy in my social circle that every girl (including my crush) wanted to be with despite him being a known douchebag and womanizer.

I started researching why this was a common occurrence with women, and through videos of them and PUAs explaining the thought process and genetic imperatives, I started to I guess adopt the stance...if you can’t beat them, join them.

I looked around at all of my friends who were low-key incels (some of them I created) and also looked at all of the guys who were constantly pulling women and getting them to fall hard, and I realized that this was just how it was. Whether it’s something men agree with or not, this is just how women are, and it’s better to play the game and have them be attracted to you versus sulking in loneliness and blaming them for something that’s natural and something you can’t shame them out of.

It’s still hard sometimes, because at the end of the day, any man who’s not a 9 or a 10, isn’t tall, etc. will have to, due to no fault of their own, work harder than someone who has those things, and that doesn’t feel great or fair. But life isn’t fair, and having to do the work on yourself to attract more women gives the added benefit of success in other areas of your life as well.

Going back to the videos I watched and articles I read, I think the key to dismantling incels is in that information I learned during that time. I think most incels are like I was, more upset as a man for not being able to understand it and therefore being able to “fix” it, more so than actually being upset at women for naturally being like that. To anybody who I see that’s like I was, I usually try to simplify it and explain it like this:

There are nice guys and there are bad boys (obviously everyone is in-between these two, but just for arguments sake).

Let’s say each guy has positive 20 traits right? Now nice guys generally have 12 positive traits and bad boys usually have 8. Men usually operate on a more logical level, so 12 being more than 8, we can’t understand why a girl would pick the bad boy over the nice guy.

What’s not understood by a lot of guys (sometimes forever) is that not all the traits are equal. The positive traits that the bad boy has are valued more than the ones the good guy has (being a freethinker & prioritizing your own life vs. being considerate and being thoughtful). So whereas the good guy’s 12 positive traits are all valued at 1 for 1, the bad boy’s positive traits are valued at 2 for 1, meaning they really have 16.

Not understanding this causes a lot of guys, particularly incels, to become very upset, since as men, we really like to understand things and get frustrated when we can’t fix something do to it being seemingly illogical.

The key for a man obviously would be to have all the positive traits from both, or at least as many as you can get, while throwing away all the negative ones they both have.

This is why even as a man, I believe the friend zone is something men actively put themselves in. However that’s not to say women have no part to play in it. The reason why most men believe the trait system to be taken at face value (all traits being 1 for 1) is because that’s the way women portray it. Women, in order to not be seen as sluts or to be seen as modest (society forcing them to be that way being another discussion) either act like each type’s traits are valued the same, or even that the bad boy’s prostitute traits are almost worthless, when in reality that’s not the case.

A woman will tell you she wants a guy who’s kind. She (purposefully) won’t tell you she actually wants a guy who’s kind usually, but sometimes can be a little rough.

This is also a big part of the dissonance. And while again, I understand why they don’t, I think the whole dating process would be a lot easier for both parties if women just said “these are the things I actually want.” Or at least, “these are the things I know that I actually want( since I know a lot of women are going to respond to that with “maybe I don’t know what I actually want”, which is also part of the problem lol).

I think it’s more of a gray area than us guys take it for. The goal for women is to get the guy with the most positive trait “points” as possible, and if that’s usually the bad boy or asshole, that’s who they’re going to keep dating. Regardless of how men feel about it.

When you're blue by default and even have some moderate success with dating, it's easy to think you know what's going on, but I investigated the red side of things simply due to hearing how terrible they were on redfit. I like to give people a chance rather than just assume if everyone on /r/askreddit says they're awful then it's true.

They said things that just rang true and made me realize a lot of things about past experiences, why they had gone the way they had gone.

But it wasn't long before I saw that they were dogmatic and refused to budge on most points, so I became purple I guess.

Mainly, the fact that they say AWALT but they also say to next girls who don't do x, y or z means they're introducing a selection bias, and maybe all the women they select for are "that way," but that's not all women. And I tend to be most attracted to the types of girls who would get nexted by red types.

From blue pill to a mix of red and black pill (I believe much of the red pill theory is correct but do not think we should neglect morality and 'enjoy the decline') in the span of about 5 years. Initially I couldn't accept that people's attraction mechanisms were so shallow, now I've come to accept that generally women are attracted to what you represent on the outside rather than who you are on the inside. I had many rejections for lacking things I didn't see as important (which I now know were indicators of things like wealth, social status, preselection) and couldn't make sense of it until finding TRP.

The blue pill had taught me that, assuming some mutual physical attraction, shared connection and interests between us were sufficient (which is what I hoped and believed in), though gradually I learned this usually only leads to friendship without the additional elements of escalation and game ('game' being something like the covert display of one's social power or resources).

I flirted with feminism even as a man. Now i'm much more mutual and just say equality. I noticed there were/are a lot of women who generally have ill will towards men in the feminist movement and there was a lack of overall empathy and blindness to nuance.

I grew up. It took a long time.

I was a pick me, gender roles are natural, men are better. I believe fundamentally I was afraid about life and life was easy when someone took care of me.

Only then did I start to see the accomplished women around me. Around 6 years ago I realized my perceptions of my parents had been fundamentally flawed, with that the blinders came off.

I live in the same city as Peter Nygard, the Epstein of the north. Since forever it's been known that if you go to work with Nygard at best you will be harassed. I didn't feel sorry for the young women he employed, they should have known better. What an ass I was.

I was a “pickmeisha” and I thought that agreeing with men about feminists would help me gain their respect. Then I somehow became aware of red pill forums and this subreddit.

Two things happened. I read and read all of the posts in the manoshpere. I also lost weight and cleared my acne. The difference in how men treat me now is night and day.

I am now very suspicious of men. Also, I used to scoff at a coworker who said she disliked most men. Now I understand her to an extent. She is attractive and even married men would try to message her sexual things.

It’s depressing. Of course I know not all men are like this. I definitely tread with a lot more caution.

What changed was basically I got out into the real world after graduating HS and realized that women weren't kidding and making up everything like I'd thought. I saw the way men treated each other in comparison to me. I was floored realizing that men actually really did think I was worth less of a human being than them, whether or not even they were consciously aware of it. That to society at large, my life, my well-being, my safety, my happiness, are all worth less than theirs.

I learned that the women who suck up to men and try to please them don't get treated better or special, they bear the worst of it. That if you are just not actively opposed to men, if you are even friendly to them, they will see you as something to be abused and harmed for their benefit. That the ~crazy manhaters~ weren't crazy after all.

I just wish I had actually listened to warnings.

I grew up assuming that because I was willing and able and actually did work full-time that my husband would do "his fair share" around the house. It never happened! I spent a long time resenting men until over time, it dawned on me that maybe they're not defective women! Maybe they have a different set of strengths and weaknesses and can be useful and even admirable in their own way. By being angry that men weren't what I wanted them to be, I was missing out on seeing what they were actually good at, and capitalizing on that. D'oh!

My views went like this in the last decade :

Nothing short of misogynist in my teenage years -> Radical feminist for a good 5 years after that -> Lowkey misandrist -> Straight up misandrist -> More moderate feminist now.

Various personal experiences made me rethink my views every time they switched. Being highly exposed to the most hateful part of both sides is what pushed me to reevaluate where I stood and why.

I've always thought the good part of trp were common sense to me, so I don't know if accepting that part makes me purple, but besides the common sense part of trp, I'm blue.

I was the fat kid for most of my childhood and teens untill I discovered TRP and read The Rational Male. Tried being the cocky PUA guy (turns out it doesn't work that well if you're fairly overweight) I ended up embarrassing myself quite a bit. I didn't realise how much looks really mattered. Most of TRP dudes are in denial about how important looks truly are. Lost an astonishing amount of weight, I even got a solid 10 to come visit me at my apartment right before the quarantine. Needless to say I haven't seen her again yet, but I'm super excited to get out there again having learned what I've learned.

I kind started reading manosphere stuff as a teenager, because I was bullied for my looks by guys and told I would die a virgin etc etc, so I was trying to figure out how to make myself attractive to guys. Men slowly started to be interested in me after highschool, and I did everything right according to what redpillers think the ideal woman should be. I starved myself to maintain a 21 inch waist, bleached my hair platinum blonde and grew it hip length, wore sexy clothes, learned how to do makeup, never argued or disagreed with men, would cook for them, offer my exclusivity right away while allowing them to date other women, buy them gifts often and never even show disappointment when they of course didn’t reciprocate, took on his hobbies and interests...the only thing I couldn’t do was sex...I’m romantic and always dreamed of losing my virginity on my wedding night and I just couldn’t give up that dream so I did as much as possible to make up for it, buying gifts and cooking for him, etc. But men only care about sex, I could be perfect in every other way and it wouldn’t matter.

The kinder and more submissive I was the worse guys would treat me, and in response I would scramble to be even kinder and more submissive and they’d just get worse, like a never ending cycle. I became a shell of a person, a lifeless doll animated completely by men’s fantasies. Almost starving myself to death because I could always be skinnier according to men, etc. So I just gave up completely on men and decided I’m going to live my life the way I want to because I realized nothing is ever good enough for men, the more you give the more they take until you become nothing. I got to a healthy weight, put my energy into bettering myself and nurturing woman friendships, and just decided if I get married i get married, but it’s better to be alone than have a guy that requires me to annihilate myself. I’m still sweet and kind to men, but I don’t take any shit from them anymore, the first sign that he doesn’t respect me or my boundaries I disappear like a ghost. Funnily enough, the less effs I give about male approval the more they want me, the more reticent I am with my nurturing nature, the more they try to coax it out of me. I would never treat a man the way they used to treat me, I just won’t put up with poor treatment 💁🏻‍♀️

In college I studied in economics, finance, and statistics. The terminology was slightly different but a lot of it was basically RP sexual strategy. Once you start asking questions like the economics of marriage, then I believe you are already half way into TRP. We can debate whether it is worth it or not. But once you agree on the basis and way of thought, I think its more a debate within TRP as opposed to against it.

I was super bluepilled as one often is in an academic middle class home, where my mother is constantly nagging my dad. It took a toll on my psyche and it wasn't until I was almost 30 that I saw through it all. It wasn't so much an anti-feminist as it was an anti-boomer values awakening. I think most that my parents thaught me was shit, and I intended to dishonor it all. Dropping academia for a regular job and work myself up did irritate them. Dating someone a lot younger and less accomplished than me certainly did too :) (Apparently you owe it to equality to date a same age accomplished strong woman if you're born in a home like mine, whatever.)

I've never been strictly TRP though some red pill realisation came to me only by doing opposite from what I was taught. For the first time in my life I could date successfully by shedding the narratives about horrible men and victimized women. I instead generalised that women can handle jokes, teasing and flirting just fine, and I can even be a bit obnoxious if I want... None of it matters.

All of that worked pretty damn well for me! Had lots of fun even when I wasn't getting laid, because chasing is a thrill on it's own. Plus you get into all sorts of objectively funny situations.

I've not felt seriously guilty about anything in 10 years and nobody can shame me back into being that super anxious kid again.

While I can never say that I was a feminist, I totally agreed with what women told me, that they were underrepresented in stem fields, that they were underrepresented in politics, that the gender wage gap exists. That women were always the victim of violence. All of it. I grew up in a traditional family and about the age of my mother found some new friends where she started work.

They convinced her, never having met my father, never having spoken to him, that she was being abused by him. She filed for divorce and her shiny new friends spent a long time trying to get myself and my younger sister to tell a court about the abuses. I was old enough so sat in the court room I told the court the truth, how they had coached myself and my sister on what to say.

It made little difference though, my father bankrupted himself trying to get the record set straight and in the end he gave up, took a rope and tied it to a lamppost, sat in his car with the other end around his neck and drove off.

It was my mother who told me about it, her exact words were, I won't be getting child support from your father anymore, anytime I needed to grieve over him and her friends were around they would delight in trying to embarrass me, usually things like, oh the little boy needs to cry again.

At about 18 I left, and at 22 I joined the army and was gone, and while I was there I had no problems serving with women, except I started to notice how they would also claim the feminist label, say things like, why can't I do that task is it because I'm a girl. Similarly whenever they were given a task that they didn't want to do they would use the same argument, I can't do it because I'm a girl.

I noticed how they would talk about fighting alongside the men, right up until it became real, we were deployed for the second invasion of Iraq, we had three women in the unit, suddenly just before shipping out the three were pregnant.

When I got out I started working in security and met many women, it was them who set me straight about a lot of things, the wage gap, showing me how it's calculated, double standards that women use. It was them that showed me the hypocrisy that feminists have been using, it was them who taught me that at one time feminists did good, even though they also did bad things. It was them who taught me about Pankhurst, Gerhardt, Dworkin, Greer, Debouviour.

It was those women who told me how much they hated feminists, how they were never oppressed by men, how now their lives are much harder because men are far colder towards them, and rightly so according to one of those women. How they now have to compete with men for the same jobs, neither of which anybody wants but everyone has to work to survive, how we aren't working together anymore we are in direct competition with each other.

M[21] I was blue pilled, now purple pilled. I cannot say I flirted a lot and had many girlfriends. I had no idea how to get a girlfriend. The only close friends I had back then, when I asked them how to get a girlfriend, they told me "Just talk to her" or simply made fun of me for even asking.

Then SOMEHOW in third year of highschool I got my first girlfriend. Even I don't know how I did it, but that went on for a toxic 11 month relationship. After that relationship, I tried it with 2 other girls and got majorly friendzoned. I was in a short relationship again (2 months) with another girl, again not knowing how the fuck I did it.

2 years ago, I decided to improve my style a little bit and searched for videos on youtube. I found alpha m. channel which was amazing. After that I also found TheSingleGuy and Teachingmensfashion. While these channels gave me style advice, it also gave relationship advice.

After watching a few videos, it finally clicked. I understood why I got those girlfriends (even though I didn't even know what the fuck I was doing), and also why I got friendzoned from other girls.

It also clicked to me as to why my first girlfriend was with me for 11 months, even though looking back she was an 8/10 and I was a 5.5/10. It was because I was confident as fuck, I didn't let her control me and was quite stoic (even though I didn't realize that back then), and most of all because she had TRUST ISSUES.

Why is the last one so important? I was the guy who wouldn't even look at another girl while having a girlfriend. I was pretty blue-pilled. But this girl with her trust issues thought that I was cheating on her with every female friend or acquaintance I had. Which in turn gave me WAY BIGGER value than I originally had, because suddenly all girls wanted to fuck me for some reason.

Yes. As I have mentioned in other posts, I had a stroke when I was 21. I was a high-value male which I totally took for granted. Looking back, I had tons of pre-selection, great social circle, making 100000k at 21, etc. Thus I got tons of female attention, with girls pining. I was very blue-pilled because I grew up in a really good family. I treated everyone well and with respect, and never thought twice because people genuinely liked me.

I had a stroke at 21. It completely altered my personality but not my appearance. Suddenly I was essentially an omega male by definition, beneath even the most creepy of losers (though at the time I didn't know the term) because I was non-functional. I was socially ostracized to oblivion, mocked while on the brink of death, and treated in the most cruel way I could imagine. This was all done by women, not men, who made it their sole mission to destroy me because I was an omega male who had made the mistake of having oneitis for a girl who was obsessed with me the year before. Beyond the cruelty, she was physically repelled by my omeganess. Also, whatever part of her that was left of a nice person also wanted her to do her own thing, something I would later learn as Briffault's Law. Keep in mind that this wasn't some random thing I read on line, it was very real, very scary, and impossible to understand.

As my state of extreme disability continued, it forced me to develop a level of self-confidence that was extreme. When you are in horrifying pain, your body is always on full adrenaline mode and the insecurity of the first years gave way to confidence and psychopathic tendencies. Around the 3 year mark, I started noticing something interesting. Despite my extreme disability (which was an invisible illness), I started getting attention from some of the hottest women I have ever seen. When I asked them about the hordes of other interested men, they told me that even CEOs they met did not have the almost psychopathic confidence I had. They didn't even care about the disability (esp since it was invisible, and I am attractive). They cared about the attraction they got from the confidence.

I started discovering concepts such as pre-selection (her behavior changed immediately when it became clear I had multiple women around), status and how she would be attracted to me if I was higher in status than her. Of frame. Of covert communication. I discovered all these things on my own. When the red pill came out in 2013, it allowed me to put all the pieces together and finally it all made sense.

By the time my disability ended, I had been transformed into a Dark Triad man with full understanding of human nature. I employed it with the full force, and found that it worked on literally almost every single women. If I am able to get a women to sit down to dinner or drinks with me (so she is in my frame), my success rate is almost 100%. And by coincidence, while I was on a date with a hot girl (more preselection) I ran into the woman who had been extremely malevolent towards me and I just nonchalantly gave her a hug, spoke to mutual friends for about a minute, and walked away. She had a visceral reaction where she struggled to stand as if the confidence had hit her in the face. She basically started getting wet on the spot. She stood in awe in intimidation. And the next day I started getting rabid phone calls from a mutual friend asking if I was single. Of course, by then I already knew this would be the reaction.

I grew up at some point and became more open to certain so-called liberal agendas. Now I see things.

I see that women need access to abortions, as sad as it is.

I see that minimum wage jobs are incredibly exploitative.

I see that sexual harassment, cheating, assault, and drug use happen a lot more often than I realized.

I see that harassment claims are really hard to prove, but businesses still bury claims to the detriment of accusers and accused persons.

I don’t pay much attention to either pill. But I was quite right wing and anti feminist in my youth. Something about the simplistic world view appealed to me.

I think the thing that changed me was going to uni and studying politics. It served as brain exercise. It also gave me reason to reflect on the assumptions I had about the world. Many of these were absorbed through exposure to certain types of media, all of which had an agenda of sorts.

I’m generally very left wing now, but not wholly in every cliche respect. I support feminist causes but there are many aspects of pop-feminism I’m really critical of (I read the Guardian but Jesus fuck it annoys me sometimes). I can also see there are a fuck-tonne of shit things about being a guy, many of which are never discussed. Nothing is clear cut. Every perspective or argument (at least with gender issues) has some element of truth to it.

To make a long story short, after my divorce I took a look at how I was doing things in the dating world and realized I needed a plan. In every other aspect of life I learned foundational knowledge and applied it. Whatever worked I kept, whatever didn't, I discarded. Why not in dating?

I found trp before my divorce through some media hit piece but never really dug into it. After, I started reading top posts on the reddit forum and watching red man group before Anthony Johnson lost his mind. Reading all three of Rollo's books really helped me understand why women do what they do, and the underlying philosophy behind pua. In practice, game I really learned from Tom torero and the playing with fire guys. After the best success picking up women in my life, spinning multiple plates, I bumped up one to an ltr.

I think the big difference this time vs. My first marriage is that I know what women are capable of, so I will not be making the sacrifices that I did the first time around. I will always put myself first. If she would like to come along I'm happy to have her.

I used to be a feminist supporter. I wouldn't say I was blue pilled, but I'm also not red pilled or PUA or that shit because I don't really pursue women or ask them out, so those "skills" never really applied to me.

But I used to do all that "take back the night" walks with feminists like that's going to solve a damn thing. And still hold classically liberal opinions today.

Then I saw, after awhile, how feminists act, and what appeared to be some real hatred of women. And men for that matter.

One time I had a make out session with a woman, and some over the clothes touching. Absolutely nothing penetrative, naked, or anything else, just your standard make out session.

So she started saying some things about me, sort of that pre-twitter #MeToo type of crap. And all the radical feminists I hung out with defended me. Because they didn't like this girl.

Which either says something about me, feminists, or this girl, but what I don't know.

So I looked at all their studies they've been throwing around for decades so I'm sure they're current, and really looked at how these studies are done, and saw massive egregious errors in them. I noticed this because studying psychology we do a lot of studies, and studying philosophy we question everything from a logical standpoint.

And it became pretty obvious these studies were "conclusion first, show work later" studies. Or what we call lies.

So where I went to school they have that "student education", type place where you have a separate course catalog for student or community led classes. You know the type, adult education classes, oil painting, photography, that kind of thing.

Well as every good university should have, it's chock full of LGBTQ+HAMSANDWICH groups like, and I'm not making this up, "Lesbian Dance Studio" and "Nudist Volleyball". Which is fine.

So I submitted a course. Many of the feminists I dated were into BDSM (naturally) and since college kids are in their "experimentation" phase, I figured some course on BDSM, even just as a discussion group would be of interest. This wasn't specific to any one thing or action or anything would be happening, it would just be discussions of things.

Your standard safety things, health, consent, all that stuff if you've ever gone to a local BDSM group meet up.

So the catalog came out, and my course isn't in it, whereas naked lesbian dance theater was there as always. O.k. then.

So I go to the office they have, naturally filled with Che Guevara posters and Free Tibet and Disinvest in South Africa bumper stickers, you know, you're basic Socialist Party headquarters you get on university centers, and the feminist there told me in no uncertain terms that women were stupid, they'd be taken advantage of by predators, men are icky, all this, spelled right out.

And that's why my course wasn't added.

Because apparently women, who would have to actively attend such as event, were to stupid and would be taken advantage of.

What this taught me is that feminism a) doesn't really exist any more, and b) is not pro-woman, it's pro-feminist, it dislikes women immensely, which is why they hate conservative women or any woman that succeeds but doesn't worship feminism.

Because feminism, as much fun as it is to make fun of, doesn't exist any more. It stopped existing with "third wave" feminism. People still call themselves feminists, but such a thing doesn't exist. It's not really the 1970s anymore, when it was just about equal jobs and all that. It's just been folded into the larger hate cult of the ctrl-left. It's just a way of getting communist revolutionaries in heels to join the cause, and destroy as much as possible. They actively, and intentionally, cause hate and discord as much as possible.

It's not about women, they give fuck all about them. It's about the "revolution". That's why feminists won't talk to anyone. That's why feminism now is just whispered recruitment and not an organization. I went by N.O.W. in Washington D.C. last year for fun and the place is a ghost town. It barely exists except for taking in money and giving the top people personal political power.

So am I anti-feminist? No. If such a thing existed any more I might be, but nothing resembling feminism exists. What with there being nothing to be anti-. All the laws are on the books for decades. Women were capable of reporting rape for years and more recently just choose to commit terror and lies about it.

And that's all fine. I didn't become more or less conservative, I'm still a classical liberal, almost like feminism was many decades ago, before my time at least. When it was about civil rights and all that. But that last happened in the 1970s apparently.

So I more mock feminists and activist groups, as they're all one in the same.

As far as red pill/blue pill, nothing changed. I didn't participate really in either of those things. I'm an atheist so there's no religious nonsense, I don't give women money, so that's out. I don't do PUA stuff because I don't do casual sex, and I don't commit either. Short, fun relationships work for me outside of the whole "pill" concept.

But I no longer listen to activists. String 'em all up when the revolution comes. Their noises are all lies, whatever "cause" they're into is a lie and just exploiting people for their money. Always.

I never switched sides, just unlearned what was taught without my consent through "personal experiences". The same ways you cleanse yourself of religious nonsense. Now I filter through interesting and unimportant information, unlike I did before instead of adopting sides.Aka, "No Pill" - "Non-feminist" - etc., etc... I was a super-conservative Christian in a Calvinist church. Women were less than men, wives have to be submissive, children are mandatory for all couples. Imagine the 1600s but in 90s clothing. Even my mom encouraged this belief for many years and trained me to be a slave. As a result I got into some bad relationships with right wing extremists and other jerks, who were more than happy to remind me I was less.

Then a miracle happened and I got a career- with good money. Working in an office and paying for nice things and what, no man was lording it over me? I was able to do all this without being told I was less? Go figure. I decided I no longer wanted to get married. I decided I wanted to be more centrist than conservative. I decided. Me.

Since then I have seen plenty of examples from my friends and family that destroy the Red Pill narrative and contradict my strict conservative upbringing. Life is not Blue or Red, it is a mix of flawed people who try and fail and try again. I have to live with my choices and so does the woman at church who got dumped after ten years of marriage and four kids. There is no justice in this life but we are obligated to try.

Not aligned to any pill anymore, former redpill follower. In my teen years and early college years i was kind of blue pilled, a dumb teen lol. In 2017-2018 i was in a dark spot in life, struggling in school, no girlfriend, almost done with college, so i joined the red pill and followed lots of RP content, i said cringey stuff such as all women are hypergamous b words that love chad and tyrone, and saying beta cuck, i never hated women though, i was anti-feminist who was brainwashed by Ben Shapiro owns Feminist, or Feminist owned. In 2019 i spit out the red pill and im now an ex-redpiller whos no longer a part of the pill communities. I realized lots of the things that RedPillers say are copes and projections.

Lots of RedPillers, Mgtows, Incels always bring up, "All women are sluts", "Men and women can't be friends", "Women love Alpha men", "Marriage is for beta cucks and your wife will cheat and divorce you", and "Feminism has destroyed women". Most of the RP followers say stuff to justify why they don't have success with women in my opinion. Im so glad that i didn't follow deep into the Mgtow and Incel rabbit holes. There's major hypocrisy with the groups too, they shame women for being hypergamous, but they themselves practice hypergamous nature. Real men don't call other men beta cuck soyboy simps, Right-Wingers love to call men that and it's really irritating and annoying, and the RedPill does that too.

I'm redpilled but I'm feminist. I had an abusive childhood. So I was always looking for a guy who was groveling & submissive which I found. To start my own family with. But he still cheated on me with hookers even though I wanted to fuck hookers too. And I got burnt out from the bad sex and doing all the work. Doing the initiating in conversation was exhasting. On top of all the conversations being boring. Always coming up with what we'd do in the bedroom and where we'd go on dates. It felt like I was doing all the work the entire relationship. I haven't had a relationship that wasn't like this. So now it got me curious about the opposite and I want a bdsm relationship where I can finally be lazy and don't have to do anything. Other than what he tells me obviously. I don't think this appeals to too many guys because of how much hard work it is to take care of a submissive, but I'm still looking for the one.

I went from anti feminist to feminist after watching the red pill documentary. I was originally watching it to get a better understanding of the mra movement, what I found was a bunch of straw men blaming feminism for problems men face that are really caused by the society we live in.

The more I looked into it the more I realised these men just have an irrational vitriol towards women and attempt to blame them for issues out if their control. Rather than working together for better conditions the childish infighting is promoted.

Not to mention the excusing hebephiles and generally shit behavior as just "male nature".

"Redpill" just means learning the truth about things that drastically changes your worldview.

Radical feminists, femcels, incels or anyone with prejudice of the opposite gender are all correct to a degree.

Human consciousness right now, in my opinion, is still on average just operating slightly above an animal level. We are not in control of our bodies as much as we'd like to think.

When you "feel" or get motivated to do something, you are actually taking in commands from the unconscious mind. How could it be anything else? Did you choose to have the thought you just had before it popped into your mind? Did you choose to get thirsty, a desire for a specific food or feel sexual lust for a specific woman or man?

We constantly lie to ourselves that these impulses and desires that somehow just invade our minds at random, are of our own choosing and our own "will". Your unconscious mind constantly nudges you into certain directions and you obey, for the most part.

How would a life form without a conscious mind act? Lets assume most animals and lower life forms are not conscious, atleast not like us humans.

What does an animal do? What does it "want"? Survival and improvement.

Survive, find a partner with good genetics that will benefit you, copy yourself (sex) and train that copy to survive.

A big part of this animalistic mindset is still within us humans. The part that ONLY cares about what genetics those of the opposite gender has and seek to pass it on to ones children. This is the black/pink pill.

You may tell yourself that you don't and rationalize your selfish animalistic behaviours, but google the halo effect for example. We project good personalities and qualities on good looking people and bad personalities and qualities on ugly people. This happens unconsciously.

The problem with gender hating communities is that they take the worst people of the opposite gender and project it on everyone who is part of that gender. These groups are also echo chambers so their worldviews gets even more skewed.

There are 7.8 billion humans on earth. Obviously there will be a lot of shitty people exposed on the internet.

I've visited both some incel communities and r/PinkpillFeminism/ , and it's really bad.

They both view the opposite gender as non-sentient base animals incapable of real love who only acts out their unconscious instincts and impulses with the goal of having sex with stacy or chad. I recommend checking both sides out.

I took a look at my life and compared to the average western woman trying to figure out how I was priveleges and how they were and it turns out they had a better deal overall . But since feminism is devoted towards woman empowerment I was still down until I spent time with feminist thuniing that maybe they would volunteer or mentor some poor or low self esteem girl and help them fulfill their potential instead oli found them to be just of beckies who used the label as a way to fill like they are doing something without ever lifting a finger .

As for the relationship part of this sub. , I grew up in the black community there's no bigger redpill than that . I just had to accept that what I witnessed wasn't an outlier of the black community but awalt .

Got a gf and that relationship deteriorated badly because I failed every shit test, white knighted for her, etc. Relationship ended with her bitching at me and totally owning me. Miserable. After this i had middling success hooking up. Mainly due to my poor fashion and acne. Still bluepilled and right wing. Naturally good looking so I guess that's why I pulled a bit.

Started looking into skincare and fashion. This let me to realize that i needed to lift. Somehow i got involved with some rp. At that point I had a new gf and tried it out. It was amazing how much better this relationship was. Just by taking the lead and being alpha.

I also became much more left wing in my political views. I support abortion rights, equality of genders, etc. Womens rights arent that scary when you're redpilled. Though I would change divorce laws.

Unfortunately this quarantine has put a dent in my rp exploration as a single guy. But rp in a relationship was amazing. Woman is happier too.

Its alot to read... lol. P.s. I met the ex who treated me like shit after being rp. She said I was way hotter than before and she was literally grabbing me into bed. I fucked her and kicked her out; she tried to set up a meeting the next night. "You've changed, I dont know what it is!". I just smiled.

I had a lot of 'nice guy' tendencies at one point in my life. Low key entitlement (though I would have vehemently denied it at the time), pedestalizing women, super unrealistic expectations on how attraction and relationships worked, self loathing that sometimes dovetailed with a victim complex. I never considered myself a red or black piller of any kind, but I definitely see how I could have fell into one of those echo chambers if I was exposed to them. In a way, crippling depression and social anxiety shielded me from that, I self isolated in MMOs during those years, that was my cope.

What changed for me? A few things. Therapy and friends that were compassionate but honest with me were probably the two things that gave me a kick start to change. I learned to love myself, and stop basing my self worth on the validation of others, or of what I thought others expected of me. I learned to take pride in my work, and developed a good work ethic. In short, I just grew up and started taking accountability and responsibility for my attitudes and actions.
