When you aren't held accountable for any of your bad behavior, why would you ever grow up?

Men transition from boys to men precisely because we are held accountable, very harshly, for our actions at a pretty young age.

It’s objectively false that adult women are mentally teenagers. And believing that falsehood is a sexist belief.

If it's a false belief, why does everyone believe it? Absolutely nobody expects women held to the same standards of responsibility as men, nobody at all. Hence everyone is fine with them being treated like children by the criminal justice system. Nobody bats an eye at the ubiquitous tendency to lower standards for women in various fields, and not just physical fields either. Ask anybody if they are ok with violence being employed against a woman under the same circumstances that they would accept violence being employed agaist a weak man (he started throwing hands, running his mouth etc) and you will see that noobody thinks they can handle male levels of responsibility. If women are adults they can have their teeth knocked out by somebody bigger if they step too far out of line, simple as that. Nobody is prepared to sign off on that though, because nobody actually thinks they are adults.

Men do have less impulse control though, and a lot of women have the maturity and independence level of a teenager. I don’t think it applies to all women or even most necessarily, but why do you think the meme about women not being able to choose where to eat exists? That’s just one example but ask any dude who’s been married long enough how decisive their wives are. Without some direction a lot of women are barely functional. I’ve got tons of anecdotal examples of this from tons of women who you would think are high functioning, future doctors, lawyers, etc.

I had a woman who wants to be a brain surgeon (and will probably get there) come out of my shower complaining that the drain was clogged. For reference my shower drain is one of those buttons that says push and when you do it pops open. I go in to investigate and she had the drain closed the whole time, never thought to do what the button said. It’s bizarre when it happens and sometimes the only solace keeping it from being frustrating as all hell is that it’s fucking hilarious, but for some women it seems like helplessness is the norm. I’ve never seen this in men, but then again I don’t date men so idk.

Here's why TRP calls women teenagers at best. Women in breaking their patriarchal shackles with feminism wanted to be treated as men.

Men are 2 things, adults and male. These 2 things make one a man. Women wanted to break into and have access to the same privileges that men have always been able to create and garner for themselves.

The thing is though men have always based who is worthy of those privileges on the ability of the men in question to commit violence if necessary. Things like dominance, posture, muscle tone, fighting ability, ability to hold eye contact, voice depth, hierarchy in an organisation, social proof etc etc are all indicators of ones ability to cause harm if necessary.

The president is more privileged than the pauper because of his station in the dominance hierarchy, ie his ability to commit violence against the world.

Enter feminism, women want access to those privileges, not through men, but independently BUT they do not want to take responsibility for their own safety. They want to be adult, but do not want the responsibility of the male.

That's why there's all these movements saying protect women, or we need to teach our boys to be better etc etc and some men resist this because they unconsciously sense something is off.

And what's off is that you cannot be responsible for someone's safety and also not be in charge of their decisions. Everyone understands this fully with children, if a child gets hurt that's the adults fault because they're responsible for the child. But if an adult gets hurt it's the adult's fault as its their responsibility to care for themselves.

So in the modern world women want access to all the privileges of being a man but also want men to be responsible for their safety. So they want to be a baby adult. A teenager.

If women really want to be as privileged as men I say all they need to do is fully take on the responsibility for their own safety. Carry guns and know how to use them, and pepper spray, invent those punching gloves from Arcane and be able to knock the fuck outta men when necessary.

I've known teenagers that were very clear thinkers, and grown-ass adults with cotton wool in their heads. And the reverse, obviously.

Which is to say I think you're gonna hafta clarify there, boss. "Think like teenagers" is super vague.

But I will say there's a lotta idiots out there who think with the wrong parts. At least half of all people out there are dumber than average, yanno. The problem crops up when we assume all the idiots in that crop are men, and that there isn't an equally significant portion of women out there - who are not necessarily teenagers - that don't behave very well.

And when the metanarrative supports the "men r dumb, wimmenz smart" regarding relationships so very strongly, the backlash is gonna be people saying women are the dumb ones instead of recognizing nuance and that everyone has psychological blind spots no matter how they fit on a bell curve.

So, yah. You yourself are painting with a pretty wide brush there bucko, speaking for us redpillers. Maybe don't do that and accuse us of thinking in absolutist terms at the same time, no? Women are having such an easy time in school having major obstacles usually removed aswell as being more favoured by more teachers. This continues till entry level jobs and what so ever.

Whenever they meet an actual obstacle they have to remove themselver like having different opinions or having their own opinion being questioned many women have this reflex by labeling this internalized misogyni, mansplaining or being discriminated because of gender pushing away any possibility they might be the cause.

Although there is some undeniable sexual dimorphism in our species (mostly physical), evidence that women are less emotionally or mentally mature than men is extremely limited. Psychological differences between the sexes are more subtle than many RP men like to think. Brain development for women continues into our mid-20s, not dissimilar to men.

Also keep in mind, socialization plays a major part in any person's mental and emotional development, which further muddies the waters. This is particularly true with emotional health. In many cultures, boys are discouraged from expressing certain emotions, including sadness (for example, being told to "man up" when boys cry). Girls are allowed to express these emotions freely...well, mostly. The idea that women are "more emotional" than men isn't purely biological. Men are conditioned from young ages to bottle up their emotions, with anger being the main exception.

Perceiving women as adults has the same flaws as wanting a unique life free of gender rules. Perceiving women as teenagers is a strategy for men to work harder and do more without asking the question “if were equal why do I feel like I’m doing more?” It’s a good strategy for people who can’t help but keep score. I would say it’s similar to how it’s actually a good thing when you’re wife thinks you are bad at doing certain things, because instead of “he refuses to do X” it’s “he’s bad at X so I do it”

The real question is would a women rather be with a man who is a little sexist but being sexist actually makes him a better partner or a man who says and thinks all the right things but is lazy and expects to be mothered. Most people aren’t perfect, you shouldn’t compare people to perfect people but to other realistic versions of themselves

Men and women are biologically and psychologically different so I don’t expect them to act the same way. I don’t expect the same standards to apply to both sexes. Inequality is a law of nature and has always existed. Men on average are stronger than women, women on average are more social than men.

If you accept that women and men won’t ever be the same then you won’t get upset when they aren’t treated the same.
