“Never take dating advice from women”

“Never take dating advice from men”

Really, both are just shit. The often claimed “blue pill dating lies” seemed to be called out for their vagueness and non-specifity. When cliche advice is taken literally or applied universally (ex. “be yourself”), then it doesn’t seem to work out for the majority of men. Nuance is needed.

While with The Red Pill, much of the tenets/rules are more specific, (although “hypergamy” is vague AF), break when applied universally. Despite all the “tools”. Nuance is needed.

This came to me when I couldn’t understand why the advice the advice given in AskTRP comments was much more reasonable than the content of posts in TRP. Essentially, one is more specific because it answers specific questions.

TL;DR: Unless you know someone specifically, dating advice for them will be shit and mostly non-applicable. If you don’t ask the right questions, dating advice for them will be shit and mostly non-applicable.

EDIT: to clarify, I’m talking about dating advice taken literally at face value.
