Yea, a year ago my wife left me for another man. Also found out there was another guy she was fucking prior to that, a coworker. “And Moon Boy, for all I know.”

Turns out she fits the description of the so-called “alpha widow,” because this is a guy from her past she was infatuated with and slept with when she was a teenager.

She always talked about how I was different, I never played head games, I was just up front with her. We spent 8 years together, changed cities, bought a house, had a child.

The way I define the word, Love seems damn near impossible. But maybe I’m just too strict on my definition.

I've been in love with my husband for well over 20 years.

I got into reading the manosphere after my extreme case narcissistic brother (reminds me of a broke Trump) started sending my dad MRA literature with the hopes that he would awaken and leave my mom, his lifetime wife, in "99". My parents loved each other very much, my brother just wanted company in his misery. My poor elderly dad was just confused by his crazy child.

I've came across this sub as part of the incel/RP rabbit hole, which in turn I stumbled upon in my introspective process of trying to figure out what's wrong with me (very little interest from women across my life despite being above average attractiveness and not a basement dweller).

I stayed to see what different people from other places in the world have to say about things. I also don't subscribe to any pill and this is supposed to be a neutral sub to discuss them, which is interesting.

I think my first introduction to “red pill” was actually watching the show “The Pickup Artist” on MTV with the guy known as “Mystery” and Matador and those guys who just picked up women on camera like crazy. They trained AFC’s (average frustrated chumps) on how to get women and had eliminations. It was kind of mind blowing seeing the gimmicks and things women respond to. It made me question what’s really behind attraction. The image is what definitely gets you in the door. It would be exhausting to keep up though.

It was the full interview with red pill school that piqued my interest and led to a lot more reading and implementation. I'm in this sub cause I love this topic and it's part of my struggle to understand why I am alone.

There are many answers out there and I think the truth is complicated but there is a lot of valuable information in trp but to read it in those spaces can bias me too much. Ppd has more of a balance.

It's often hard for me to come up with arguments against the seductive reasoning trp employs, it's sorta like how I can easily read the stuff fds posts and reject the toxic parts and not feel that affected because I'm not a girl and not affected.

But it is way harder for lonely, insecure men to consider trp ideas and put up cognitive defenses. They want these simple explanations to be true.

Other than that, I am a contrarian and love to play devil's advocate. So it's fun to point out flaws in logic or reasoning. Debate subs are fun.

Especially when both sides are kinda right.

Yes, it was a breakup. I dumped a couple chicks and didn’t understand why I was still being pursued and was given enthusiastic blowjobs when the new guys were told “I don’t like to give BJs”. I never considered myself an “alpha” (I just don’t let my boundaries get moved), and I didn’t understand why I was attracting the same type of chick with two different outcomes…. The first outcome is rejecting a chick and her repeatedly jumping into bed with me enthusiastically while seemingly hoardes of dudes are orbiting, simping, etc… many of which were better gentlemen in her eyes. The second outcome is a brief romance/honeymoon period followed by “eww, he might actually be interested in a LTR? No thanks, I need to chase guys that call me up at 2am for booty calls then get drunk and beat me”. This was far less common but I didn’t understand why being the “not give a fuck” fuckboy was WAY more appealing to women than “Let’s take it slow and go on dates” Traditionalism women screech 24/7 that they desperately need. Asking female friends was simply a blame game and “must be you that’s the problem” you see on PPD.

I was sympathetic to TRPs, MGTOWs, and those that turned into incels a while ago due to dealing with one terrible rejection after another ranging from just simple "Eww, Asian boy/creepy engineering boy" comments to having the police called on me for saying "hi" to a girl to someone screaming at the top of their lungs over being around me during my late teens/early 20s.

Felt like TRP was definitely more aware of the world around them than my friends were even tho everyone told me they were "toxic". I learned their ways but I can't agree with their solutions and it's just not in my nature to develop a narcissistic or Machiavellian personality.

In my mid 30s, my love life is better now. Pretty much off the dating market hopefully for good now that I found my best friend. I'm on here just to give my takes on what I've seen from the time I saw TRP flourishing like a wildfire amongst men in Aspie/depression sites in the late 2000s-early 2010s to today and try to keep people away from the more toxic aspects of that mindset.

Only reason I come here is it’s one of the only relationship/dating/sex subreddits people aren’t afraid to censor themselves.

The downside is that it tends to attract women who think all the men posting here are TRPers who need to be “owned and put in their place”. And then you have the black pilled men who respond in kind and it just becomes a hilarious spiral of toxicity until the mods come in to nuke the thread.

I ended up here because I dated a girl who was obsessed with Walter Fate’s incel videos on YouTube and as I learned more about this stuff eventually I learned about the different “pills” and found this subreddit.

I stayed because I developed this weird fascination with the dudes who ride the Reddit hamster wheel all day instead of being out there and living life and actually hanging out with women.

They’re always posting questions like “would a girl rather date and ugly guy who treats her like a queen or a hot stud that beats her up every day?” and other weird theoretical questions about male/female dynamics that are absolutely useless and won’t ever help them have better relationships with women in real life.

It’s not exactly schadenfreude because I take no joy in watching this stuff, but it’s kind of like an accident on the side of the road, I just can’t look away from the cringe.

I ended up in this sub simply because I like reading other people’s perspectives and ideas whether I agree with them or not. I am in many subs that are very opposite of each other but still agree and disagree with people from both communities. I am banned from some subs just for participating in subs they don’t like. You can guess which ones those are.

Ive been in a loving relationship for 7 years, my first girlfriend, i was her first boyfriwnd too, took eachothers virginity, both finished college last year and have moved in together. Things are going great, planning to get a dog.

I have an habit of listening to everyones opinions, extreme or moderate, left or right, blue or red pill, I learn from all of them and use whatever I can to my advantage.

"Red pill knowledge", understanding "female nature", has helped me improove our relationship, really my relationships with all women, friends, cowerkers. In truth Ive known about this things for a long time, even before finding about these comunities, you notice patterns in peoples behaviour, but they helped consolidate and understand more clearly what I had already noticed.

AWALT? Eh, they share a lot of traits for sure, theres a lot of things that apply to the majority of women, not literally 100% though.

Knowledge is a tool, reality is what reality is, fair unfair, logical or illogical, it is what it is, you play the cards you are dealt to the best of tour abilities, knowledge helps you play the game.

Sure I have been but it had nothing to do with taking the Red Pill. I found it by coincidence and one of a sudden a lot of things I did not understand about women became very clear. After gathering enough information, I decided to go my own way. Best decision in my life. Not only because of female nature but also because a gynocentric society.

I was a hipster Chad in my youth and had a very intense love affair with a girl in her early 20's when I was about to turn 30. She was a little blonde girl from a rich family who had a baby face: she looked like a little cherub. We would stay up all night drinking and listening to indie rock, then we would fuck and pass out. She broke up with me because I couldn't take care of her financially. She came back about a month later, asking to have sex but not date. She claimed it was the best sex she ever had.

I started fucking her again, but I knew she was only leaving me because of the money/resources thing.
