If you have lots of sex, the value you might provide other than money, are things like looks, fun, being spontaneous, etc.

Some guys will slay on the basis of nothing other than their looks. Some guys will slay on the basis of nothing other than game, or, "the unexpected desirable guy" (the type noone can really tell why, but still slays, a.k.a. charm)

Rich men more than often provide nothing more than a temporary lifestyle, that they'll dangle Infront of women, in exchange for sex. Most, as soon as they've hsd their fill of the girl, will dump her.

So having lots of sex can be gained through charm AND looks aswell.

No, whoring around is not how a man shows he's provider material or anything else of any value. In fact it's a sure sign of the opposite; it shows he won't be as likely to build a life with one woman in marriage and be faithful to her. He's investing his energy in chasing thots, rather than reserving that attention for the right woman. Mutual love and passion, fidelity, and commitment are more important than money by far if a truly meaningful relationship is to be had. No. The male functions of "lover" and "provider" are two very different skill sets and have proven almost mutually exclusive. Experience shows that men who are good lovers are shitty providers; and men who are good providers are shitty lovers. Most men are good at one and lousy at the other. A few men are good at both. Women who can provide for themselves overwhelmingly gravitate to good lovers; but cannot keep them. That's why male providers still exist- because women need them to have the one or two designer babies they want to have.

Women are also looking for safety and security. Pre-selection is probably more at play here rather than it being a demonstration of being a good provider. Sleeping around is a threat in the sense that the man may abandon you. So it's a more calibrated thing:

If a guy has no interest from other women, then it's probably a good heuristic to assume that he has poor provider potential.

If a guy pursues a lot of other women, then it's probably a good heuristic to assume that he's a risky option as a provider.

I mean this isn't that complicated. Just because number of sexual partners could correlate to resources doesn't mean having a lot of sex guarantees it, and it's not particularly difficult to actually figure out if you have resources or not. If a woman wants to evaluate your ability to provide, she doesn't waste time figuring out how many girls you've boned, she looks at your displays of wealth. The 35 year old virgin living in a penthouse in NYC has more resources than the party boy barely making enough to afford rent with his 3 roommates, and women know this.

The best way to show you're a good provider is to prove you have resources. Women are curious about men who sleep around because they want to know what all the hubbub is about.

I don't think it shows that you're a good provider but it does show you are wanted by women which automatically makes you high value to women. I noticed that if I date a girl and it ends on a positive note, if later down the line I try to date or hookup with her friend it's almost always a yes. This has even happened when my ex-girlfriend told me that her friend wasn't physically attracted to me but when we broke up, her friend was still down to hookup because my ex told her the things we did.

I think you’re just slightly off. Women want a man who many women are interested in, not necessarily a man who is sexually active with all those women. As a man, women knowing about other women who are or have been into you raises your SMV.
