Some time back I read this controversial comment on Reddit. It was on a post regarding the study that claimed that at least 50% of university students in the UK were not sexually active.

The comment was, that this was how it was supposed to be all along. Nature made it so that women would only pick the strongest males, and the gene pool of the entire human specices would remain strong. Patriarchy was an obstacle to that, but now that that's gone, the natural order is being restored.

I'm willing to buy that as an argument............but here's my question. How come it only applies to men? Are you telling me that women's genetics are not important? Surely, this dynamic would apply to women too? But it doesn't seem the case.
