I am convinced the “crazy cat lady” jab is just projection.

May 13, 2022

I feel like men are much more worried about being single and dying alone. We would happily rather be single with cats (they are hella cute) than be with a guy who is like a child/unloyal/disrespectful/insert other red flags here*.

Als, in reality, women die alone anyways. Most women will outlive their husbands and then go in for another 5-10 years or more and die alone.

So threatening us that our behavior will lead to us becoming a crazy cat lady doesn’t do anything. Just saying.

I think you’re actually the one projecting. I also get a hit of delusion.

I’m not the one going around telling people they will be crazy animal lady/man bc they are unmarried.

I believe ppl can be perfectly happy single.

Projecting? Idk. I’m married with a kid.

Good for you!

Also crazy cat lady doesn’t mean a woman who wants to be single and likes the company of cats. It means a woman who is forced to be single and keep cats as company.

I’m aware. That’s why I am saying projecting. I feel like men are more likely to be upset about being forced to stay single.

They throw the crazy cat lady insult at like amy woman. Maybe she wants to be single? Hell, guys say it to me, and I’m married

I think men are more happy to be single(unmarried/no long term relationship) as long as they get sex from somewhere.

The only post I see it people complaining they can’t stay in a relationship are women.

I know women in their 30s. They alternate between pretending they don't want kids and a family and desperately chasing any prospect of it from a guy that barely meets their standards.

They look at their friends getting married and having beautiful marriages and families. They feel jealous and bad about themselves. They think that because they waited for so long they should get something better. But now their only choices are to go beneath themselves and swallow their pride.

Do you know any women in their 30s well?

They might tell you they don't care. But if you know them well you hear the pain when they cry about it and tell you about it.

Getting a cat to listen to you and respect you requires a lot of skill, lol. I'm pretty sure the people that say these things don't know a thing about cats.

Unfortunately, my cat is an ass though. Too hyper.

The cats don’t contribute to the household but at least they look dang cute doing it.

Posts sometimes sound like they are aimed at one single specific person. I'd like to participate more but majority of the posts sounds like a ex couple role playing.

As far as I am concerned, this post is just an opportunity to talk about cats.

I don’t know any women with a cat or cats who can’t fuck any dude she wants and is also content with being single

People overate relationships and project unhappiness on people who don’t have what they think everybody wants

I'd guess both sexes are roughly the same with respect to that fear, but men consciously use it to manipulate women more.

It's crazy dog lady now. Bonding with cats requires patience, time, trust and understanding. Sort of similar to a relationship. Whereas dogs love attention from anyone and take very little effort to bond with. Look at dating apps and how many women who can never seem to get off the apps always have dogs.

Lol. I wanted a dog.

I got a kid. Accidentally

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
