A friend of mine got married to a woman who had two kids from a previous relationship, he wanted to have kids of his own but now the woman changed his mind and doesn't want to get pregnant again. The guy is still fine with the deal and says he feels like her step kids are like his real kids. You go figure.

IMO, I don't think neither of the cases previously mentioned are a good deal for the majority of men.

Men consider anyone a woman had sex with in her 20’s to be “Chad.” If you lived in different cities, if you went to different colleges, if you worked in different professions.. it’s not likely you would have run into her in her 20’s for her to reject you specifically. This is why women aren't just attracted to looks, they are as equally attracted to character and sometimes women have to wrestle with which side they are going to choose.

If a woman can find a man that embodies both traits (Looks and Character) she basically won the fucking lottery for herself and especially her kids. Such a father will have good looking babies and he himself will be there in person to transfer his resources unto them in in the form of money, assets, status, and most importantly his mentorship and his own life experience to give his kids an advantage psychologically, economically, socially, and emotionally.

Ultimate win for the father? If she doesn't have a "primal urge" for the father, the answer is likely no. For a variety of reasons this will often lead to a dead bedroom marriage. Unless sex is WAY down his priority list he's going to be in a losing situation.

Describing the situation is a cold clinical basic scientific way leaves out a hell of a lot. There is a lot more to life then "passing on genetics".
