Why not? These men literally have been bought up by women (in childhood most boys have 70% to 100% of adults around them be women) and they have this instilled in them.

Lived experience tells men that this kind of self preservation is the only way to protect themselves. The different between flirting and being creepy is simply down to whether the woman finds you attractive enough, I mean I'm not a Chad but I'm not ugly and have a charm, but I experience women always accepting my natural flirting but not from others.

Men have seen so much telling them that they are the ones in the wrong, we saw the support given to Christine Ford with no evidence. We see posters pointing out that drunk women can't consent and yet it's implied that men can.

And finally we see rape cases go to court where even if the woman is found to be lying (I mean without any doubt not just not proven) her identity is still protected whilst the man has already been deemed a rapist.

If women want this to change its up to them to challenge Feminism and it's subcultures because just telling men to man up or shape up is t helping them it's just helping women.

The only problem with male sexuality (thus expressing interest) for women is being unwanted. So if she doesn't give IoI, I assume no interest and that it's pointless to even try. I can do horrible jokes, and if she's attracted I'm as funny as Bill.

And me too stuff is mostly a problem in the workplace. Any guy with two braincells can understand well why flirting or doing anything with co-worker is by default a big fat no regardless of who she is, there is literally no positive to doing that. Which is a shame since it's where in theory where you'd meet like minded people.

I get your sentiment but it's not going far enough. Whether she finds you a creep or not is 90% up to whatever the women perceives and feels at that moment. Men should hit on women without caring about whether they'll think they are creeps or not. Nothing about it is illegal and it can't get you in trouble and even if you live in one of those dystopian places where hitting on a chick is illegal, good luck on her proving it.
