When I really think about it, when women are faced with a problem that needs to be solved, it seems like there are 3 main go-to ways of going about things:

  • Get a man to do it for her

  • Ask 10 of her friends and come to a communal group consensus for a solution

  • Keep complaining and not attempting to solve the problem herself because that gets her attention and empathy.

Obviously this is quite the generalization since there are many different types of problems, so maybe this idea could use some sharpening. But from my own experience (when I'm involved), women tend to either get me to solve their problem, talk about her problem with all her friends and discuss it like it's a presidential debate, or when I do offer advice, she'll just keep complaining forever and never put into action any plan, much-less one that I've suggested.
