New York Magazine published an article entitled "It Doesn't Have to be Rape to Suck."

Now women are speaking up about situations that fall outside the conventional definition of rape but nonetheless reflect a gender power dynamic that leaves women sexually vulnerable.

There is a disconnect on how women and men experience PIV sex. I discuss this in great deal on this sub because time and time again it seems hard for TRP men to empathize.

There's a saying "Sex is like pizza. Even when it's bad it's good."

No woman ever has said that.

Sex can be splendid. It can be awesome.

But sex for women can be bad. Sex can be painful. Sex can be humiliating. Sex can be the complete opposite of a pleasurable experience. It can be downright horrible.

So yes it's true more often than men, women can regret sex.

And I'll concede that women benefit from being selective with their male partners and only selecting ones they trust, but as the article details even a committed boyfriend can render a woman feeling vulnerable and regretful post sex.

Of course everyone has agency and no one is a victim. I'm only making observations on gender dynamics.

Let's discuss.
