Yay! It didn't even occur to me to make a post.

My girl crush is Gwen Stefani. I think she's so phenomenally beautiful, and I love that she's unabashedly feminine (especially in terms of her aesthetic). Plus, she's very talented.

Her taste in men is questionable as all get out, though

EDIT - Also, Joan on Mad Men. Not the actress (who is unbelievably boring in interviews), but the character + the looks and style

Anyone who's talked to me for more than five minutes knows that I'm obsessed with Taylor Swift. I think she's beautiful, and a fantastic dresser, but I'm also just fascinated with her as a songwriter, a businessperson and a celebrity. So much so that I wrote a ridiculously long in-depth analysis of her public persona and brand for a Rhetorical Theory class in grad school. (I got an A.)

I love how unapologetically feminine she is, and I think she's really charming, funny and smarter than people give her credit for.

One time I saw an interview with Taylor Swift where she said she gets drunk and annoys her friends by crying about how much she loves Joni Mitchell. And I thought that was funny, because that's exactly how I feel about Taylor Swift.

Edit: I wrote this before I saw your edit. I'm not sure I look up to TayTay in the way you're getting at (though I certainly wouldn't mind having her skin and hair. And her money, while we're at it.) Mostly I'm just really emotionally attached to her music and think she's fascinating as a celebrity, and I have a lot of fun being an active fan of hers.

I try to emulate a lot of women in my real life, but I'm drawing a blank for celebrities I want to be/look like.

I don't idolize her, but Emma Watson is the only celebrity crush I've ever had. It's weakened since the HP franchise ended and I've only seen one of the other movies she's been in, but she's still the only celebrity I can say I had a "celeb crush" on. With most other celebrities I barely know their name and have trouble recognizing them from one film to the next.

She is the furthest thing from my physical type, but she played Hermione and that was enough to win over teenage me.

Tammy Duckworth, she’s awesome. I idolize her for her resilience and success, just an all around powerful woman.

Looks-wise, I think tons of women are pretty. I’m happy with how I look, I’m pretty average in the face but my body has accomplished some awesome athletic stuff. I definitely envy the looks of pretty much every Olympic marathoner though!

Overall for me it would be Maria Callas Beautiful, extraordinarily talented, complicated, conflicted and unapologetic. Her ability to communicate so much soul and emotion through a very rigid singing platform amazes me.

Of modern women, I think Charlize Theron is beautiful, smart and funny. Melissa McCarthy seems like a genuinely kind person, as well as tickling my funny bone sometimes. Florence Welch is ethereal and there’s something magnetic about Tilda Swinton....Looks wise a woman I have a chance of emulating is Christina Hendricks, but her personality does nothing for me.

I would love to be more androgynous. I’m very feminine in appearance - soft, curvy, shortish, round cheeks, small nose. While there’s nothing wrong with this, and it’s a look I like in other people, it’s not exactly “cool”. I wish I were more angular in face and body, and I wish I were so skinny people think I have a heroin problem. I’m too healthy looking. I could use a harder edge.

Plus those bodies seem fun to dress. They don’t have to worry about shirts that won’t button over their tits.
