When I find myself agreeing with Jams with increasing regularity it's an interesting feeling. Both of us have an opinion that modern men are weak at best, and shitty at worst at a macro level...albeit we come to that conclusion from differing angles and experiences. With all the AWALTing, referenda on elective or nonelective single motherhood, and feminism bashing going on here we do need to ask if the general state of men lead to a lot of these outcomes.

In my view, men kinda suck these days, all the way from whiny Nice GuyTM single fellas to the new generation of soyboys to the deadbedroom'd & henpicked lazy dad bod husbands to deadbeat fathers, and everything else. It's almost as if men's collective unattractiveness invites the problems we face as a whole, regardless of the current state of women. The relative comfort of modern life plus technology makes it easy to be weak and fat and a number of other factors make modern men whiny and spineless...all of which make men unattractive as a whole.

But that's just me, and I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

Q4All:

What is your opinion of the current state of men, in general? What do you see IRL?

Q4BP & Women

What should men do to improve their deficiencies and become better men?

Q4RP & Men

Should men own their failings to a greater degree, individually and as a collective? Why or why not?

Edit to clarify I'm gearing this towards the SMP/dating/relationships/sex scene, but comment at will otherwise.
