Freshman year of college, first frat party. I’m vibing with this girl throughout the party.

Came in a large group, brought a ton of girls so everything was cool. Homegirls we’re going up and stuffing my face full of the punch.

Long story short got roofied, woke up with said girl in bed. Girl returns to my dorm room door a little bit later saying her period didn’t happen and her parents don’t support abortion so she was panicking.

I was 17 at the time, absolutely crushed and panicked as well. My parent didn’t support it either so we were probably fucked was my thought process. I was physically ill and holed up in my dorm for a week. Thought I was going to have to drop out to support it.

Told my friends from back home about what was going on. None of them went to college, we all were poor as fuck. Some of them had kids already

They viewed me as some type of super genius for going to college, didn’t want to see me fail. 2-3 days later they made a few plays got me the cash to deal with the situation. It was literal cash, my boy Tyquan drove 5 hours to my campus in his unreliable ass car with no license to put the cash in my hand.

Told shorty I had the money, and we terminated the pregnancy. There was probably an easier way to do it, maybe could’ve gotten it for free I don’t really know. But we were young, and it blindsided me so much that I froze in fear. I’m lucky I had people come bail my ass out.

Also I’m super lucky, I simply put the cash in her hands and let her handle it. She could’ve backed out, and spent the money

My ex girlfriend got an abortion. She sent me the pic of a positive pregnancy test, then a pic of the first then a second positive test in the same pic. I've never had my heart drop so hard before. I don't have one, but I have had three condoms break on me before, and was super lucky all three women took the Plan B pill. One of then required a lot of convincing but she took it. That's as close as I've ever came to an abortion.

i wanted to abort my first kid, wife did not, she talked me into things and im super duper happy i did not abort said kid

everything worked out for me. life is a bit harder than it would be if i hadnt had kids early but it is what it is. small price to pay for having my daughter

i dont like the idea of abortion, i am mostly against it, but of course if i was 100% against it i'd be a hypocrit.

My ex and I were barely having sex so I got lazy with taking my birth control. I get pregnant, want to keep it even though our relationship was in shambles, i'd already had baby fever so I was actually happy to be pregnant. My ex freaked out, begged me to get an abortion, and when I wouldn't pudge, he threatened to use his family's connections (moms a prosecutor, his dad was a well respected judge) to get custody taken from me citing my past drug history even though i was on maintenance. i couldnt take the stress of going through a pregnancy alone and risk that happening afterwards, so i caved in and got an abortion. Resented him forever, met someone else less than two months later and it was like love at first sight for me. We hung out one time and I broke things off with my ex and started dating this guy. Now I actually lowkey want to get pregnant because I'm getting into my late 20's, still have baby fever, and it feels right... but I'm not 100% sure yet.

I had a thing going on with a girl I was barely into, she got pregnant and wanted to keep the child because she loved me and also was pro-life, but I was hella sure I didn't want to co-parent with her so I convinced to get an abortion. I dumped her shortly after she got the procedure, all that work I had to put to convince her showed me our core beliefs and ideas were mismatched at best, at worst literally opposed.

My former FWB aborted my ( potential) kid without telling me about it beforehand.

She wasn't terribly young or poor or anything else. I would have been happy to have a kid with her at the time.

Feelings of worse rejection ever in the core of my being.

Feeling of utter hatred for her afterwards as a human being.

I could never really look at her the same way again.

I've never been faced with an abortion but I've never quite supported it either. Maybe it's just me but I find it unnecessary and most people could do without it if they:

actually liked and wanted kids, because they'd do what they needed to do to take care of them. Even if it meant putting their dreams on hold for a little while.
thought more about sex instead of buying into the mainstream view of sex being for pleasure and "you can just get an abortion" ass-backward way of thinking that's no more than damage control.

Baby mama got pregnant again. We couldn’t afford it. She wanted to keep it. I told her if she did I’d terminate my parental rights. She cried and got the abortion. Life moved on beautifully.

First, it is not my concern at all. Personally I couldn't care less about this whole damned issue and I am in fact sick of it.

However, since my tax dollars do in fact pay for it, I will vote with my wallet and take the side of the anti-abortionists in that I do not agree that my tax money should be used in such a Medically dubious and Ethically questionable way.

Women: If you do not want men like me to dictate your right to an abortion then do not use my tax money to fund said abortions. Problem solved. If you pay your own way then men like me will gladly fuck off. So long as your abortions are funded by men it is men who get to decide. You want men to have no say in abortion issues? Fund the procedure yourselves!
